  1. The theory of climate migration is strong and inarguable, but I don’t see it happening in reality. 10k’s already die per year (indirectly I’d guess) through changing patterns. That will continue this summer. Yet people still moving to Miami/California and happily booking holidays to Greece, Spain, Italy in high rush months like august. Either don’t know or care And if mass movement does occur, we’ll just go to war, kill them aol and annex our lands off. If the British public happily cheer on Saudi and Israel in their wars in Yemen and Gaza, there’s no way we’d stand in the way of something that’ll directly affect us
  2. Disagree. Carling and peroni are unmistakeable for me. They stand out like a cider
  3. Or X’s or whatever else they now call the thing that makes dirty money clean for Elon
  4. Totally agreed. It is happening here. This thread is the perfect example. It’s bursting at the seams with tweets. No policy notes, guidance or informed ways to vote. Tweets
  5. England have commercial agreements in place to play a certain amount of matches per year, and there’s only so many international breaks to play them in. Good chance to flog a few away kits as well
  6. They defo want to lose, Sunak has his new life in California sorted with the school places confirmed and a NED role at Blackrock in the bag. Nice bit of chill earning top dollar and 'former UK PM' forever etched on his CV, his hourly rate can now double. Likewise the next four years are going to continue to be very tough, inequality will skyrocket and standards will slip to becoming more third world, against a backdrop of general malaise from the British public. The Tories are best off starting their 2028 campaigning now, along the message of 'labour incompetence' you mention above.
  7. I obvs know it costs around £80 pm, but when I see it spelled out, it still amazes me. £80 per month!!!! They really can sell sand to the Saudis
  8. Tamil prince for me is the best new Indian (not Bengali curry house, actual Indian) in London atm. Pleasantly surprised at how good it was given location. Didn’t know Tamil crown existed, googled and it’s got a great location just off coleBrooke row, added to the list, thanks
  9. Friday 5 July gonna be a helluva day. Post election so no real attention on work and celebrating a Tory landslide defeat. Then England’s QF kicks off at 5pm so perfect excuse to get to the pub at 1pm. Just pray for dry and bright weather
  10. Started reading her book this week, read the section on the environment. Don’t think she believes any of what she says in it, she got the concept of net zero wrong as well Lol
  11. Haha yeh, thought this was common knowledge but apparently not! Maybe all these posters are fishing like me! Anyway, way to hijack a thread, apologies all. Back to script…extend the section!!!!!!!
  12. No you haven’t done that yourselves. You worked for 40 years to pay those older than you pensions. I am now working to pay your pension. When I retire, I will get no pension.
  13. To get their support for the next 8 decades of their lives
  14. Americans are all loud and annoying but generally good natured and neighbourly. These European resorts have the wrong impression of brits because we export the worst of our population behaving the worst that they can on these package holidays. Much like England football fans away, not representative of our country
  15. Ofc it’s not accurate lol. There’s no way tories are only getting 66 seats and reform 0. We’re as lazy and stupid as the yanks, large parts of this election will be played out on ‘stop the boats’ as there’s will be on ‘build the wall’
  16. Good post, would agree with most of this. However not sure the older group you describe are material, I think they just shout the loudest. And they’re probably (justifiably) annoyed. If born in the post Industrial Revolution era when houses which cost about £20 are now worth millions, and money making opportunities in thatchers sell off were everywhere, not being a millionaire now means you’re quite dumb. Best to blame it on someone else. Re your main point, we have third world characteristics, huge inequality with a tiny ruling class. Even the middle classes are eroding away. Low growth, high debt, poor public services. Why would anyone vote for sunak? If you’re a professional in your early 40s approaching the peak of your career, c.£250k pa, why vote sunak?
  17. Absolutely, they do you over at every opportunity possible. Not gonna be crying crocodile tears for Ryanair’s profitability. That’s the game
  18. Yep. Music magpie and Amazon trade-in usually. You can get money for virtually any old tech, given the materials are so in demand. Easy process to navigate, simple postage instructions and cash paid to your bank account quickly.
  19. Unbelievable! Ryanair are so useful given their prices, network and simplicity of service, but no way of getting anything out of them. I guess that's the deal we make with the devil. Had a fair bit of success via the ADR but given I am making everything up, cannot go through them. Will prob write this off then
  20. Cheers, problem is there's nothing wrong with me, just cannot make the flight anymore and fishing for something back. Wondering if anyone had got a refund from Ryanair before and I can make up some proof around that reason. Don't dare try any funny business with travel insurance as they'll actually look into things
  21. Anyone had any experience of a refund from Ryanair? I cannot make a flight anymore, I have given them 'proof' that I have broken my neck and cannot fly due to medical advice, but nothing in return. What do you need to do to get any money/credit back? Scoured reddit etc, no advice.
  22. Rishi Sunak's constituency, can we lynch the tory for voluntarily going to Sunak land
  23. Agreed. He won about 5000 games in a row and many would’ve been happy to see him go after a couple of losses during our mid season holiday. It’s business, no loyalty either way, we all know that
  24. Already getting a hefty discount via me paying their state pensions
  25. Keith Gillespie was at jersey bulls end of season awards dinner on Friday. Really wanted to ask about La Manga but chickened out
