  1. Totally understand the theory and logic of a regulator. However much like most other regulators in corporate Britain, I suspect it’ll be a toothless tiger
  2. Hahaha and what are the regulator gonna go? Listen to fans? Just another pointless body to pay
  3. They don’t care about you. And we’re gonna do nothing to stop them. ‘Football is nothing without fans’ is a tired cliche which we’ve done nothing to protect.
  4. Yeh but likewise tay Tay is selling out everywhere. It’s the mindset change that interests me. How do the Hollywood grifters convince simple minds they care about wrexham. How did tay get me googling Milan tickets? And how can I cash in on these marketing ploys
  5. It’s amazing isn’t it! As far as I can tell she’s no different to other pop stars, but her bandwagon just keeps rolling, I was even looking for tickets to see her at the San Siro! I think I understand the con job going on at wrexham with the Hollywood dudes. They are slick marketeers and can make simple adult minds truly believe that they are ‘one of us’ and really care about wrexham. A heavily edited reality tv show later and the bandwagon is rolling. Maybe Tay Tay has that young female market cornered in a similar way? They really believe they are the same? No idea but it’s a great social experiment
  6. To confirm, I was doing the absolute opposite!!
  7. Hopefully change is coming. But there’s a difference between posting threads like this to farm likes and boost your brand, and actually getting off the couch to do that thing called change. Theres a reform group who have held two v informative calls. Join the trust, follow their lead and make sure you vote should any decisions come to all trust members
  8. The food is quite basic as well imo. It smells incredible but it seems they’ve taken the whole ‘we’re Italian!!!’ thing a bit too far. Italian stereotypes, very cute, just give me my food
  9. How come no pizza on a night out??
  10. She defo crashed the economy. Resilience systemically and stress testing is so much more robust post 2008 that it’d take a lot to see those events again (not impossible obvs). I and many others won’t be forgetting the night of Friday 23 sept 2022 in a hurry, there were some crazy and scary scenes and scenario planning. She should be in court for treason imo
  11. Yeh and the law is an ass. She will be declaring and paying (presumably) the correct amount of tax as per law, with a few judgement calls in there I’m sure, which her husband is fully involved and influential in setting. And we’re about to sack her husband very shortly!
  12. If she was even paying 5% of the tax she really should be paying it would be the tories biggest marketing tactic of this election. Reverse engineering means we kinda do know what she pays, f all. Govt set the rules and we set govt, she might be doing the ‘right’ thing as it stands but she’ll be doing the right thing in California in a few weeks time after we sack her husband
  13. Net worth of around £650m, so reasonable to assume annual passive income alone at 5% of £32.5m. So at a marginal tax rate of around 33% she should be paying min c.£10m tax. Akshata is not paying £10m of tax
  14. Season starts 17 aug. 27 July is too early for a home friendly. They’ll still be on camp in July I’d imagine
  15. All in context. The crux of the scheme is send people to a safe country. You allow your waste to be exported to Malaysia and turkey to be burned and poison the local communities. You buy petrol that has been subject to flaring and kills kids in the area You make tens of thousands of pounds per year whilst billions around the world near die of hunger on c.$1 a day. You are not evil, neither is sunak. He’s just an incompetent idiot
  16. Fair enough, appreciate the response
  17. Ok fair enough, you are the only person I will believe when moaning about the rich and 'don't they have enough' You should give speeches!! Better than all the life coaches or inspiration mentors out there, you're actually walking your talking
  18. Haha I'm joking, enjoy, and that also answers my question about what base you eventually got to. Congrats
  19. And you still call it a date!! No longer a date after all bases have been achieved surely? Or are you still working towards third base...
  20. Would be nice to hear from some Tory voters though, without them being chased off of this thread. Struggling to think of why anyone, in any demographic or age group, would vote for them. I am reasonably sure they will get more than one vote on July 4, so would be good to hear from anyone who is a real person as to why they are voting that way.
  21. You wouldn't though, or at least you do not know that. By earning average wage in this country you are likely amongst the top 5% of global earners, probably in the top 0.1% of the richest people that have ever lived. Billions of people across the world will say why do you need a car, alcohol, meals out, takeaways, a TV, new clothes, a holiday, central heating, someone to cut your hair, junk food that adds no calorific value, a garden etc etc. We live in extreme and unnecessary luxury and always want more. You will not be saying no to a promotion or pay rise at work
  22. Would hope this generation isn’t as sensitive and a massive snowflake like @David Hankey and faces up to their responsibilities instead of blaming others. We still have time. Starting on July 4 by delivering a historic and unanimous rejection of the status quo
  23. You were the generation that was handed everything from those who fought in the wars, and you left nothing for those after you. That’s how baby boomers will be remembered, that’s how sunak will be remembered on July 5 2024 onwards. Guilty
  24. Totally, there are anomalies of course. But the fact is the baby boomers inherited everything and passed on nothing. That incompetence will not be forgotten in the history books. My generation will oversee the unwinding of the global climate regulatory system and the extreme carnage that will follow, and be held responsible for it. Fact. We are each responsible.
  25. Agreed and the moral argument is really interesting, morbidly fascinated to see how that plays out as it will be in our lifetime. Baby boomers are arguably responsible for the unprecedented and historic decline in this country into decrepit decay. Do any of them care about their role in our fall from global superpower to irrelevant island? Not a jot, iTs ThE ToRyS fAuLt being the prevailing view. But baby boomers will be remembered for their unforgivable failure and stunning incompetence long into history. I hope our generation takes more responsibility as the world continues to burn
