  1. Got to be a PSR fiddle with the amount Newcastle payed for Woltemade…
  2. And he’s rejected it. Says he’s going Saudi. Bookers we were offering that in the first place
  3. Last year of his contract €6m book value. Get rid and replace with Ivanovic and Carranza.
  4. Reckon it’ll just be a couple of loans. Would love Jordan James in but just can’t see it getting done, so think we’ll settle for a cheaper alternative in Saletras. Think we may push for Rak-Sakyi loan with obligation as well, but not sure that gets done either and we stick with BDCR/ S Thomas as back up to Fatawu. In Carranza - Loan w/option Rego - Loan w/ option Saletras - <£5m Out Bilal - Loan w/ obligation Alves - Loan
  5. I wonder if the relegation release clause was always €30m not £30m… Therefore, if the deal is €5m loan fee and €25 obligation to buy it is essentially the same as the release clause just structured slightly differently and reduces the sell on fee to Genk. Still not saying it’s a great deal at €30m/ £26m total package, but still represents a profit after 1 year of hardly pulling up trees and being relegated.
  6. Starting for them today, so hopefully just agent talk.
  7. Wonder if that would be a loan or permanent. Doesn’t appear to be much in Marti’s plans and been leapfrogged by Page.
  8. Would genuinely rather play Evans up top than Bamford.
  9. If Bilal stays think we only need x2 incomings, pending any other outgoings. 1x CM and 1x ST minimum. If Kristiansen / Faes go we would then need a LB / CB replacement respectively.
  10. Assume it’s because his icon is the Pisa logo
  11. Got what £6.5/ 7m left in terms of amortisation… so should hopefully recoup that and get a new LB in to challenge Thomas.
  12. After Friday it’s then an International break, so we’re not back in action until 13-Sept against Oxford anyway. So gives him a couple of weeks to get his head right.
  13. Very true, trying to justify it to myself its not as bad as being made out…. Still not very good either though!
  14. Is his salary that high? He’s one of the biggest earners at Feyenoord, but it’s still the Eridivisie, so looks to be on c. £40k. Surely we could match that with an increase in the event of promotion to closer to £50/60k isn’t blowing our budget out of the water. Especially when the likes of Winks & Soumaré are stinking out the squad on close to £80k in the championship
  15. Besiktas looking at Djalo as new CB, hopefully that doesn’t end their interest in Wout.
  16. Injury prone. But loan with obligation I wouldn’t hate it.
  17. Still got options at fullback. Need to prioritise midfielders and striker. RB: Ricardo, Hamza, Coulibaly LB: Thomas, Kristiansen, Aluko
  18. Any ideas on Mavididi’s injury?
  19. Next up Friday night against the Brady Bunch. Hopefully still got 11 to put out by then. A few new signings surely not too much to ask for either.
  20. Hope we go for x2 box to box 8’s when Bilal inevitably leaves. Don’t need two sitters and a 10. Soumaré, Winks or Skipp can play the sitter. Just need two starters ahead of them. Billing looking for a move seems an obvious one, as long as wages are reasonable.
  21. Signed for £15m on a 5yr contract = depreciates £3m per year. 2 years left on his contract, so to break even in PSR terms we’d need c. £6m. But tbh after the Kasey money can probably afford a slight loss in PSR terms in order to get him gone.
  22. All hail Lord John of Rudkin. About £6m outstanding book value to break even on PSR. Gerrimouttttt
  23. That was quick!! All the best Kasey, think this will be a good move for him as well.
