Yeah they did after some horrendous financial mismanagement, and selling the club to unfit persons. After the reforming, the other SPL clubs could have allowed them to continue in the SPL but they eventually voted against the idea, effectively forcing them to re-apply as members of the league. At least thats how I remember it. If Chelsea and Man C were found guilty of outright cheating, it would be great if the other Premier League clubs could vote against them being allowed to continue in the league, but doubt this could/would happen

Rangers were demoted to Scottish League 2. There should be no lesser punishment for Man C and Chelsea!

Agreed. Something I remember from earlier on in the season - Praet has been through on goal twice, and on both occasions the better choice would have been to use his left. Instead he went with his right. Missed both chances. Can't recall any criticism of him for this at the time - no doubt because he is right footed, or because there is no 'extremely-one-footed' label stuck on him by some of our not-so-bright fans. I would venture to suggest that there are a hell of a lot of right-footed players who are way more one-footed than KDH. p.s. in the interests of fairness, I should probably disclose that I am left-footed...

If memory serves, I remember being at Barnsley away in the 90s, in the FA Cup, penalty shootout, and Philpott needing to score to keep us in it. Looked terrified taking it, and needless to say missed it, and out we went!
