Agree it's actually one of the few things that's maintained for actual moral reasons. However i don't think there's much substance behind it. Anyone can now watch games at 3pm and all you're doing is punishing fans in the UK. Its worse for us because we are one of the clubs who sell out every week so watching at home is the only way certain fans can. Seems silly for the club and the league as a whole to be missing out on money by encouraging streaming illegally.

What's this?

Since dropping down a level we seem to have done nothing to suggest we are acting like a Championship club have we 😂 If you want to go to a match it's at least £36 and buy shite like this it's £180.

Can't wait to see KDH, looking like he'd rather be anywhere else and wearing anything else, modelling it.

Nice to see no one's over hyping him

Imagine doing all Rooney and Vardy have done with their careers and having your wives flush massive sums down the shitter on that. Even worse for Vardy with how much he's had to pay out. I've always thought the bashing of Rebekah was a bit over the top but she's become indefensible.

LCFC Fans Consultative Committee Meeting 06/09/23 Minutes
Gamble92 replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
I get the feeling there's some who have just renewed this season just because they don't want to lose their Premier League season ticket. But they have an air of arrogance about not coming, or leaving early this season. -

Leicester to appoint Martyn Glover as head of senior recruitment.

Wasn't he our caretaker at Plymouth away and had to ask the fourth official how you make a sub? -
I'm not allowed to reply in the Rudkin thread. Presumably because it's not in keeping with our tradition as a fan base to go against the wonderful people we have running our club. But @Babylon I will reply to you here. https://www.spotrac.com/epl/payroll/ This is the Premier League wages for the season and I'm sure you have Google so can check what ours is. Hope this helps.

No one at the club thinks we are important enough to deserve an explanation. They also know how embarrassing and implicating a review would be. They're hoping it will all blow over, and why wouldn't it with the passive fanbase we have?

The money situation was eventually explained in some programme notes before the Forest home game. After months of only getting Rodgers sob story. It's more the month after month of silence as we agonisingly headed towards relegation. They denied attempts from local radio to have any kind of update, the Foxes Trust got no response when they asked what the **** happened to their little inquest. The fact there are still people who defend them after how awful the last few years have been is a joke to be honest.

Won't have a go at anyone for looking for the positives in anything because there's more than enough negativity on here. But needing a reset didn't require relegation. Being bottom half with that squad was a sackable offence, let alone what was allowed to happen. We have been fortunate that players like Ndidi and Nacho have stayed pretty much through circumstance and the fact there were more than enough that did go. Relegation could quite easily have seen us have everything we have worked for ripped away completely. Luckily it hasn't but that doesn't mean it's a good thing. The teams in that bottom half of the Premier League are absolutely dreadful and we could have stayed up, kept players like Barnes and been in a much better position than we are now without all this.

You remembered what division we are in when you wrote this?
-
Completely agree, but I think if we do bounce back straight away we are fortunately already stronger than most of that bottom half in my opinion. Everything you say is the case, and we should never be in this position. But we almost have a better head start than any promoted team ever if we go up. Still find all of it unforgivable and I'd never have believed anyone telling me I'd end up detesting individuals from that FA Cup win.

I agree it's very much on Top. Like I alluded to earlier, the successes the club have had have not been from amazing ownership. Yes, we couldn't have done anything without them and they will always be legends. But the successes come from Nigel Pearson and his staff initially. The same Nigel Pearson they'd made sure left the club before they come in. Then their 2 appointments were that bad, they had to go and get him back before we'd have basically done a Derby and got a points deduction. The Premier League success that followed was under Ranieri. Ranieri who was very low on a list of potential appointments. It's hard to say any of that is amazing work from the Director of Football or owners. We didn't even spend much. It was all done on zero net spend which eventually caught up with us. It's very easy to get sucked in to this media narrative that we were this incredible club to aspire to with masterminds at the helm. But so much of it wasn't like that. It's an unpopular opinion to have and it doesn't mean I'm ignoring the fact they are the reason we have achieved all of this, but let's not kid ourselves it was all some masterplan.

Does anyone know when they'll announce what day it's on for TV? Going Brum for Noel that weekend so praying it isn't the Friday

I'm saying that he probably has picked Maresca. I'd argue the logic you're applying to critics of Rudkin is the exact logic the owners apply to Rudkin. I think they've accredited far too much to him and overlooked all of his awful failures. He should have been sacked. Simple as that. Not enough has been made of how awful the club was with us as fans last season. We had no communication of what was going on, bar Top's programme notes that probably aren't even his words. Then we got his petulant statement at the end of the season after 2 years of us all seeing exactly what was coming. So yeah, Rudkin probably did pick Maresca. But you don't credit someone for finding a hose pipe if they started the house fire do you?
