I forever have this memory of being pissed off that I had to go to my Dad's on boxing day and couldn't watch us play Arsenal. Only for them to check Ceefax and see it was 6-1 to Arsenal and the whole room burst into laughter as I skulked off. Today might at least give me a new traumatisation to banish the demons of that day.

Just thinking of Stolarcyk as I stuff the Turkey

That fact the odds are that short for 9 goals tells you just about all you need to know. There's been what? Like 4 9-0 games out of how many thousand and it's 20/1. **** me. Anyone started on the vodka early?

In response to the "what do you expect to achieve" about Danny Ward. We were 3-0 down with no way back after having to endure this man almost single handedly relegated us 2 years ago now. Yes the rest were shit but put anyone else in goal for that game and that relegation season and all of that doesn't happen. We've had enough. The reaction is as much at the board as it is Ward. It's a joke. He's actually lucky it's not happened before now. The fact he's still being picked is a disgrace and I think Sunday was the least he deserves. -
It's a talking point on TALKSPORT about us booing/jeering him and surprise surprise they couldn't be more out of touch with the situation if they tried. Yet another chance for Adrian Durham to spout shit about Leicester. He never has a good word to say about us, maybe some weird Peterborough thing. We're being called entitled again because of the Premier League win. God forbid we want a goalkeeper to save chances of 0.04 xG My god you entitled bunch.

It's more of a threat than you can play whenever the first choice isn't playing. He should be made to rot. Admittedly the club don't hold many cards, but statistically in these 2 games he's played you could genuinely make a case for a fat bloke in SK1 playing just as well. After 10 pints.

Players hate fans in general. Hold us in absolute contempt because they'll hold on to memories when they've likely been deservedly criticised. Vardy and Drinkwater were terrible for it for a long time. They'll absolutely just think this is us being entitled. The more I think of it, Ward is actually really lucky he hasn't had it a lot worse than this by now.

There was a few golden years where King Power couldn't believe their luck. Yes they threw shit loads of money (against loans) at it in the Championship but in the Premier League everything has been bank rolled by some freak transfers. All whilst they lap up absolutely all the praise. Every single person from Susan Whelan, John Rudkin. You name it. They've rode this shit until the wheels come off and then some. I just have such a bad feeling when Top decides he's had enough we will be in an even worse position than when he arrived.

What I don't get is the clubs stance on it all. Player tells you he won't leave because his wages won't be matched anywhere else. Tell him he will rot and ruin (what's left of) his career then. Give him something to think about. Okay accept your 40k or whatever but let him know it's going to cost him any kind of move after because he'll be playing with u21s for years. As it stands he's a no.2 for a Premier League club that gets called upon as and when and collects a lovely wage for it. Another example of how clueless everyone at the club is.

Iversen is miles ahead of Ward in every aspect. And what would you know about decent canteens?

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

I like him. He will also demand transfers and the quality of those transfers will be much better than anything Cooper would attract. We need to forget about today. Move on and look forward. No manager in the world would change everything around in the space of a few games with this side. -
Call me picky but I'm not sure any of this is positive

The term all mouth and no trousers is fitting for Coady. All mouth and no legs probably better sums him up. Finished years ago.

Results like this and the Newcastle game aren't just so bad because of the result. It's the lack of confidence it instills in the team for the next time they play. West Ham and Brighton games papered over cracks but at least they had the belief they could score goals and challenge teams. All that's gone now. And it's a massive worry. The only positive is January window. But it would be typical Leicester to have someone like Percy announce on New Year's Eve that there's no money to spend.

I'm a big fan of Matt Piper. As a pundit and a person. But not understanding why fans are booing Ward is tone deaf to say the least. I'm not for booing anyone usually but the fact he's still starting for us in the Premier League is genuinely criminal. What staff at the club that sat through that relegation season could possibly justify it? I get Piper has to toe a certain line in the position he's in and not necessarily go after players, but the fans are more than justified in mocking Ward and the club for this. If Ruud picks him again then we and him will get everything we deserve.

Yeah let's just make our fanbase look even worse to Forest fans coming on here. Even half jokingly threads like this are embarrassing.

Just like Man City then?

The talk about the youth players was a really interesting one. It's been an issue for ages seeing way over the top criticism on here for players who break through. Recently it's more than likely deserved. But when players like Barnes got it it was a joke. I can only assume it's because we all know people in jobs who are there by luck and don't deserve to be, and there's this feeling they've got there by default. Just because we can't go out and buy a player for their position. At worst it's just some weird self loathing and belittling of Leicester as a club. -
Wish I had a restricted view at Newcastle

I think he's probably on 40k a week and he'd have only been able to get clubs that would offer 10-15k. There's no way wherever he went he'd have improved his reputation to the level he'd ever get the same sort of money again. I think when players leave for less money it tends to be because they back themselves to get back to that level or higher. This turd knows he's done after here. I doubt any Championship team goes for him.
