  1. Vote today taking place on "favourable ownership" sponsors. Makes me think the club absolutely knew this vote was happening, and one of them has thought they're some kind of mastermind with the idea of pumping all the King Power money in through BC Game. If that comes to light that that's happened then we're going to look like a really shit version of cheating Man City.
  2. We don't quit at half time Mam
  3. If this happened on Football Manager I'd restart the save
  4. 116 123 for Samaritans by the way lads
  5. I think the one positive, and I'm clutching at straws and scraping the barrell admittedly, is that we will now see exactly what the intentions of the club are in January. If they use this as a reason to throw money at it and try and stay up then we might end up stronger than we would have done without the injury. If they don't do much about it then we know they never really expected to stay up anyway. Probably the latter. But we can live in hope.
  6. Yeah I mind actually
  7. Can you actually believe that a Premier League football club is having to be asked if it's done it's due diligence on a sponsor? Even that in itself is so laughable. Susan Whelan is another example of absolute cock up after cock up and still manages to keep her job because she is part of the furniture. We know of her and Rudkin who are the high profile cases but I bet this runs much deeper than them.
  8. Didn't someone on here find that their registered residence was a small shop on a high street in Gibraltar? If it was a way to pour money in through a third party then there must have been better ways than this. If it is just part of the company it's still a really bad look and another embarrassment for the club. Sponsors like what they sponsor to be successful for brand exposure but it works both ways. Having a dodgy bitcoin company on the shirts that's just been in the news for bankruptcy doesn't exactly scream of well run football club.
  9. I was going to point this out too. 2 in the other 10. But to play devil's advocate, giving him games instead of Edouard would only benefit us long term. I certainly don't think Edouard offers any more short term. Suppose Cooper didn't know he'd be this bad but it still just looks like a massive panic signing on deadline day.
  10. Okay maybe it is but the levels to which they have benefitted from that period under Pearson cannot be underestimated. Yes, they chucked money at it but that was only a massive gamble to the club and not them. It is exactly the same as what Derby did and failed. It's more an overreaction because of the way the media and a lot of our fans hype them up as something they clearly are not. It's a myth that we were so much better run under Vichai just because that's when most the success was. There was still absolute amateur stuff going on like removing Pearson before they come in, the awful appointments, the non sacking of Pearson. Money loaned out bankrolled us, great. They weren't geniuses. And the real Top was exposed when we got relegated. A petulant man child with a chip on his shoulder.
  11. Honestly take away the work of Nigel Pearson, Shakespeare and Walsh and the ripples effect from their work that come after - these owners have been no better than all the absolute shit you see at the likes of Blackburn, Derby, Coventry etc.
  12. When you say ask, do you mean Foxestrust will put our a statement to us all highlighting their great concern? That's how we deal with anything isn't it?
  13. I just see it as a positive that these unbelievable shortcomings are still being exposed. Achievements like last seasons promotion after the worst relegation in history are still laughably giving some reason to defend those running the club. It was so obvious to us from choice of sponsors that the club are being run by absolute frauds. The way they have operated is like some dodgy tax avoiding vape shop. Not a ****ing Premier League football club. Just leave before you ruin us completely you charlatans.
  14. There is a 100 odd page thread on Forest Forum crying at how all they see is Leicester shirts everywhere. They were living that nightmare for nearly a decade. Let them enjoy their season of top half excitement.
  15. Is it sad that I'm looking forward to this? Dominos toys stocking official merch was class. Missed it when it went. I can't help but think this is the fella who sells officials kits next to the market finished now.
  16. It's quite obvious they're designing a lot of stuff like this for a market abroad that in the main doesn't exist. Certainly not enough to produce this many at this price. This range and ones like it are relying on Thai lads in their 20s passing by King Power shops at the Airport and knowing of Leicester. Great target audience guys. And they do internal reviews into "fan engagement". We must have turned into the most out of touch club in the Premier League.
  17. It's an age old debate and you'll see plenty of left activists claiming they do the same for the right too. There is never going to be a way of pleasing everyone and I think in this day and age with the way we now consume television in general it's better to just scrap the TV license. Which will happen soon anyway. What you have is a bunch of usually old white men at the top of the organisation who are doing their best to appear whatever they think is right for the new woke world and not really giving a **** because they're retiring.
  18. I think that's about every pundit in regards to knowledge about anything outside top 6. I think our coverage for 10 years has always been "Vardy needs space in behind and if they don't give them that then he wont score"
  19. He played Souttar against Stoke last season so there's every chance he might apply same logic of him knowing how to play his old opponent. I can see him playing some part at least. I wasn't a fan of Enzo and I'm still not sold on anything he's done at Chelsea. Admittedly they've done better than I thought but Palmer has won something like 38 of their last 42 MOTM awards.
  20. There was almost a complete backtrack even on the promoting issues whilst out there anyway. The fightback was generally along the lines of we need to get our own house in order before we can dictate to anyone else. So no one even bothered. Think there might have been the odd line here or there by presenters but no one exactly brought up any pressing issues. Would hardly have made for good TV anyway.
  21. Wish I could say the same about my fridge.
  22. Lineker doesn't go round acting like he's a business guru though. That's the difference.
  23. His awkward laugh when Hislop said it. I don't hate Neville. I think he's been a good pundit but my god has it gone to his head and then some.
