Yeah I don't feel like Okoli was ever going to be amazing given Atalanta sold him for the price they did. But he's probably best we could do this season. Speaks volumes that we were still constantly bidding for centre backs after we signed Okoli. The club clearly knows they've ****ed up with the Coady signing. The wages he's on would flag up at any club as a massive error where heads would roll. But here it's just par for the course. Well done again Rudders.

You say this like you don't park outside people's houses for free.

My rep Vs your rep. Say no more. Aren't you the guy who rants at like 2am drunk that you're really hard done by by Foxestalk and indeed life?
-
Yeah I'm quite surprised he went to Villa to be honest. I think typical British media tarnishing him unfairly with the supposed failure at Arsenal and even the stuff with his accent had a big part to play in his perception here. He's actually elite.

Forests owners a complete and utter disgrace but at least he is driven by an ambition to keep growing them. Do we see a vision from Top? I think a few years ago when the stadium expansion was seemingly in full flow there seemed to at least be that start of a new era vibe. Absolutely everything since has stalled or got worse and we have let a team like Forest catch up. They were absolutely in danger of being in our shadow for a decade and they caught up just like that. They won't do what we did or even close, which is some consolation. But for now we have to deal with staying up and then Top needs to ask himself what he really wants because otherwise we are going to go to shit.
-
Agree with that now but we were ahead of them and we've definitely been a more attractive proposition for quite a few years in recent memory. Like you say not now. They've caught up and then some. But when we'd won the FA Cup and Premier League and had the squad we had, I'd say we put ourselves firmly as one of the most appealing jobs in England and even Europe. I don't like talking about it because it's a hard pill to swallow how far we have fallen. But Villa weren't more attractive just because they played at Villa Park and won something 40 years ago.

I think if they hadn't sacked him if the score stayed at 2-0 against Southampton, then he'd certainly be gone now if he'd followed it up with defeat to Forest. So he's certainly not far from the sack. A loss to Ipswich will give him a mountain to climb. If he doesn't have one already.

Was just about to post similar. You absolutely want Pep seething like he was when we beat them 5-2. Still makes me laugh he said how negative we played after scoring 5. When he's praising you you know that you bent over and let them take you up the tail pipe.

It really is annoying. My opinion of Faes has always been he's about as good as we can get for our situation. By that I mean he's capable of being great and plays out well from the back. Yes he's absolutely capable of being a complete bomb scare but yet again he's playing for relegation battling Leicester and that's where we are at. Having said all that, stuff like last night is genuinely unforgivable and makes you wonder how on earth he puts himself in those situations. It always feels like with Leicester, even when we were battling for top 4, we are either inexplicably brilliant or comically bad. Faes fits this perfect really. Just ****ing typical he saves it for a game against them lot though isn't it?

Unless we create something like a whole stand of safe standing and say everyone who wants to sing go there and then that stand just bounces for 90 minutes no matter what the score - then in the modern day of course atmosphere will be dictated by what's going on on the pitch. I don't think any pundits say anything other than our ground has a good atmosphere. That's probably still a lot because of the great escape and title winning season but those seasons proved how great it can be. The style of play absolutely dictated that. I don't think it's lazy to suggest this, just realistic.
-
He's just been saying his next job will be bottom half team in England and we are (arguably) the most attractive of that lot. I think, maybe.
-
I think our last time in the Premier League shown us how detrimental it can be to have a manager just about do enough to keep their job by pulling out a result when needed. Theres 2 or 3 times that season you could say they'd have had to pull the plug on Rodgers if he'd lost. It would be mad for us to let history repeat itself but it feels like we could.
-
Just seen Roberto Mancini in Morrisons near the ground buying a meal deal. Take from that what you will.

I think we just needed a manager to come in and impose his style. Whatever that might have been and really go for it. When you're trying to appease a group because they liked the last manager so much and you end up with half and half philosophy you are doomed to fail. I really did rate Cooper before he come in and I've given him as long with my support but losing to Forest at home like that should only happen if they're miles ahead of us. They're just better coached and drilled. That kind of stuff is non negotiable. And the interviews are always the same. Yeah it's on me. Yeah we didn't do this and that and must learn. It's just a matter of when he gets sacked now. I think last night against your biggest rivals would be enough for most boards in the country to react. We know ours will give it a loss at Ipswich and Man United before acting though.

Tied to a radiator in the corner types

Hang on I did a Cooper In thread few weeks ago and it got locked
-
Bringing him on just felt like one of them realisation moments. And not in a good way. I can't defend him any more after that.
-
I think people are wrong to think they won't act more quickly this time. He's gone with one more defeat next week.

****ing Soumare Soumare

You were alive during the time of Luke Thomas?
-
As a recovering alcoholic I'm pleased to say Cooper made me unrecover and I'm laying in a skip close to Frog Island if anyone wants to rescue me in the morning. I have a chicken kebab on my head and a bit of chilli sauce AND I STILL CANT GET OVER BRINGING ON SOUMARE IS HE TAKING THE PISS? I was willing to accept him. I lived in Nottingham all my life. I still accepted you. Soumare? 3-1 down? Soumare? Really? Really?

That was me done. I had to go for a walk

I'd rather have done what we've done. **** them
