I did too. He was just one of a few players in that team who can be absolute quality but absolutely not the type of player you need for a scrap.
-
Only person Tielemans has to blame for his last season is Tielemans. He was ****ing jogging back when West Ham went on the attack in what would have confirmed our relegation anyway. Maddison did exactly what Maddison did for Spurs second half of last season, got injured a lot and was way off it when he did come back in.

It's amazing how low the bar is with Soumare that when he makes a few good passes there is this ridiculous praise for him. Off the ball he was an absolute joke again. It's actually disgusting the effort he's put in since he played for us and I don't want to see him put on a Leicester shirt again.

Concerns about the direction of the club
Gamble92 replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
If it doesn't benefit King Power in some way then don't expect the club to give it any attention. -
Something a bit uncouth about taking a picture of a young lad behind his back and posting it online. What is this person hoping to achieve? A few laughs reacts?

I'd rate Rab Douglas, Kevin Pressman and Simon Royce above him without any hesitation whatsoever. The most inept professional goalkeeper there has ever been.
-
I think Rodgers realised from day one that Rudkin and the rest were all absolute chancers who'd got to where they were by blagging it. This allowed him to come in and dictate the show. He was from Liverpool and Celtic and they were in awe of him. Probably charmed the pants off Susan as well. He was basically unsackable until they absolutely panicked and realised actually all of the shit coming out his mouth wasn't true and we were gonna get relegated. None of this is applicable to Cooper in the slightest. I actually think they were ready to sack him before the Southampton game. I don't think he'd have survived losing that 2-0. If you're right and they do wait too long and we go down then they deserve everything they get. None of them will ever get a job at another club anyway. They'll probably just retire and leave us in a worse state than before Vichai arrived.
-
They're genuinely not. Even they know they can't act like they did last time
-
Because we got relegated?
-
So you think because they waited last time and we eventually got relegated they'll do the exact same? If anything does that not prove my point?
-
I really think he's a lot closer to the sack than people think. I don't agree that as long as he's not in relegation zone he stays. I don't think you can purely go off points tally. The stats are extremely alarming and they catch up with you eventually. You don't ignore the amount of shots we are facing and the xG conceded etc and just say oh we won a couple of games so what. Even our board aren't that inept.
-
I think as a rotation option he could still be okay but it is extremely baffling that he is a nailed on starter given we can see how much is coming down his side constantly. It's quite sad that without injury you could quite easily have seen him playing for England regularly. Now he's probably a good championship level player at best that's being constantly exposed at this level.

Has anyone actually seen a replay of this supposed offside goal by the way? The coverage on my shit stream was abysmal and just kept talking about how the managers now have replays available to them straight away yet they didn't have one to show themselves? I heard someone saying it was like when Sky chose not to replay the massive VAR error last season with Spurs Liverpool 😂

Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official
Gamble92 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I don't think it's fair to label Ayew alongside Reid. Ayew has looked decent for me. He does a job. That job is never going to be fashionable, but there's no way he gives away the ball as much as the younger players against Forest if he's on. You could see even last night how he can cause defences problems. Then there's Reid who has genuinely not even made a pass of note. -
We'll win this. Ipswich 1-3 Leicester
-
God I hate this game
-
If we see Soumare again after tonight then there is something serious ****ing wrong with our club
-
Faes would look good with his style with 3 better defenders. He gets slaughtered (and rightly so at times) but the things he does well would look good in a better team. Which is why he will go to a higher team in my opinion. I know that isn't popular. The old adage of talent means nothing without hard work was the issue with that team. You say the midfield was good enough but Tielemans effort in that season wouldn't have looked good enough for the Championship. If we'd have played with as much effort as we did for that last West Ham game for even a few more matches we'd have been absolutely fine.

He was 5th choice mate
-
I've seen better line ups on strictly come dancing
-
Imagine if you said this time last year we'll be playing Ward at Old Trafford
-
Yeah apparently he actually hated his time at Leicester. As much as we all fangirl about it, it was probably a bit of a culture shock playing at Filbert Street and having a baggy Fox Leisure shirt given to him directly from Dominos toys.

The parading of the Premier League trophy and the King of Thailand was even more strange. Then Top cries he's had criticism when we get relegated. You want to be front and centre for achievements on the pitch then you sure as hell take centre stage when it goes to shit. What's happened is the success of others has given the owners an untouchable status with fans and now we can clearly see it's not down to anything genius they have done some of us are rightly calling out how shit they are. We just have too many passive fans who will watch us destroy ourselves because we once won a title.

Good observation this. We certainly aren't any less passionate. It's actually a massive myth about the City Ground in the same way Anfield has always had that myth around it. There is no ground in England that's bouncing for 90 minutes. It just doesn't exist. Even the grounds that teams have stayed at 100 years are so much more family orientated now. We have massive nostalgia for Filbert Street and it could be great but that also had dire atmospheres. The sad thing is I thought the Great Escape and Title Win finally banished the ghost of talking about Filbert Street. We'd given it an achievement that topped anything at the old ground and an atmosphere to go with it. Literally everything got worse after and you can blame that on a lot of things. It's just sad.
