Exactly. It's a trait of the very rich and those in power etc to double down on mistakes rather than admit being wrong. And those in charge have been doubling down on this style of football for some time now. What really winds me up is the feeling that from the top of the club , and the wider world of punditry etc is that if you haven't been professionally involved in the game you're wrong and this style is actually the best. As fans we've seen it on the pitch - the only place that counts - for years now , slow , ponderous , not getting shots away until the opposition have made it back to full their box with 10 men , even Enzo when he was winning got the criticism. But what do we know ?

Agree with Ric above post. We've got to start changing this defence up immediately and adding some teeth up front. If brussel continues to play lots of double relegation players or players that are there for 'experience' who add nothing to the team he won't last long with the fans.

Saying we are waiting for the right guy etc is a total myth. If that was true we've been waiting for at least 5 years if not longer. Just get another striker in for gods sake. If we had two last season that could have chipped in with 10ish each we would have stayed up. The real reason is this. Leicester city hate strikers.

Great post , interesting. And I also will always be grateful for the great memories as a fan. But there's no such thing as a ' good ' billionaire. I've worked for very rich men , and you don't get to that point without stepping on plenty of people on your way up. These people definitely aren't saints. There's another point to hoarding that much personal wealth but I'll leave that for another day. So whilst I may prefer an owner that doesn't have blood on its hands from some corrupt regime , all of these guys have done some pretty dirty shit over the years and king power will be the same. I just think it's naive of some people to think these are wonderful people, like you say , sports washing at it's finest. For me , the fan owned model would be the best for clubs , but I realise at this point that's equally naive of me to wish for.
