Did the club gamble and overreach?
Dave Fishwick replied to An Away Move's topic in Leicester City Forum
We didn't gamble at all and then covid restricted what King Power could do. Couldn't foresee that, but the time to gamble was the season we were in a title race at Christmas -

We usually get a result against these (reverse game at the Amex apart) but the way the two teams are playing at the moment I'm fearful however I've been informed on here before that Brighton are dog shit, so hopefully this forum gets something right for once -
still massive odds against to go down with the bookies 3/1, I'm having the house on

Nottingham Forest, post match thread 2-0

Club legend but its time to give Vardy extended period out the side now. Either his head is gone with all the stuff about his Mrs, and on top of that seems to have lost so much of his pace that caused teams problems, I want to see us play a different way Unfortunately as we all know we have cocked up the recruitment of a new striker, knowing that this day would come eventually, however I would like to see either Kelechi or Daka get an extended run to see how we go, and have Vardy as someone who could possibly stretch teams late in the game -
Hopefully we manage to get rid just in time for Chelsea to get rid of Potter

father time is a thing -
I've always thought this a tiny bit tbh. We get credit in a lot of places for unearthing Tielemans when he was on a lot of top clubs radars as a youth player and just fell through the cracks a bit, we were the only ones to give him a chance

LCFC 0-3 Newcastle - Post-Match Thread

but then what % of times does a long goal kick reach its target? A lot of the time hoofing it is just giving up possession -
what I would like: League 2 opposition or lower at home what we will get: Man Utd away

European games 2 weeks in a row so not much wiggle room. United + Arsenal have to play Sunday Sky wanted Liv v Leeds but Liv playing Tues CL, so moved them out the early Sunday slot to evening Sat. Simple There isn't less games being shown
-
blanked against Liverpool didn't he
-
I've never had a problem with them and it isn't the fans fault who took them over I'd much rather see them take European spots off genuinely hateful clubs like Liverpool or Arsenal
-
Toon ain't going anywhere, from a purely sport based basis I hope they continue to bloody the noses of the elite and make a few teams shit themselves about a perceived guaranteed European spot

I’d have liked us to have a look at Beale. Even Wolves who are a basket case have managed to get all their ducks in a row. It’s really frustrating at this point seeing good managers get taken off the conveyor belt. We’re going to be left with Rafa Benitez to try and pull a massive rescue mission

not sure about insight. I really enjoy Ally McCoist but I think Eni Aluko is a dreadful pundit, she offers nothing "Just think Brighton need to score goals". "Forest just need to be better defensively and their good players need to score". two nuggets from her tonight. Anyone else could have turned up and delivered that level of "insight"
-
if the result is all that matters may as well just stick ceefax on at 5pm on a Saturday
-
but but Brighton are 15th and can't score! He must be shit!
-
well said
-
this seems a very one sided post
-
they won 5 games in April/May, including winning at Arsenal and Tottenham and beating Man Utd 4-0
-
I might spend the day digging up the old posts "I'm not sure about Potter, Brighton are only 15th"
