  1. Harsh to talk about Albrighton in that way. He is a different type of player and before his injury and Puel departing he was our only player creating real chances on a regular basis. He has great vision, passes the ball first time without wasting time, and keeps things simple. He is reliable and has been consistent since the title winning season (and before).
  2. Fuchs is a more efficient and effective player and has a wiser head. Chilwell can still learn a thing or two from Fuchs, if he is humbled enough (which is really my concern). Otherwise, whilst he is not the finished product yet he has huge potential.
  3. You will have to say Pereira! He may turn out to be a bargain. Evans is second for me given he was signed for only 3.5 mil!
  4. His shot stopping in one to one situations has been pretty poor too. I can’t remember the last time he saved one.
  5. I think it has more to do with him having to create half chances himself and the pressure put on him by fans and Chilwell (they must have bad blood or something) than his lack of composure. He has shown what he can do at Barnsley and WBA when he is given space and clear chances to score. Still a lot more to come from him. I hope Rogers can really get the best out of him.
  6. I said this in the first game Barnes played after WBA that Chilwell had a beef against him. I don’t really like Chilwell’s attitude generally towards his teammates to be honest. Unlike Vardy and others who encourage others, Chilwell has always shown a dismissive / blame attitude towards others, especially last season. Hopefully Rogers will put this right.
  7. He was great, I agree. Just one of those things. He is also probably better suited to play like he did at WBA through the middle and roam freely rather than get stuck on the left with Chiwell - who is not exactly good at doing linkup plays. Let’s see what Rogers will do with him.
  8. One thing not to be forgotten is that we are also dealing with a generational change here with millennials coming thorough. They think they can change the world in an instant.
  9. They could, if they had a Kante like replacement or Tielemans. That didn’t happen and so the whole playing style was disrupted by nervy defenders (Morgan, Huth and Simpson) just lobbing long balls up aimlessly. In the title winning season, these same defenders had Kante and Drinkwater quickly taking the ball off them (if it got to them at all) and making decisive passes forward. Puel, to his credit I think, saw that but he also needed a Tielemans like player to control the middle; but then he changed way too much to the dislike of the older players. It is a shame though the older players were phased out so quickly having given so much to the club in the past years.
  10. Probably just his father having a big mouth.
  11. Takes two to tango. Can’t do it if Chilly can’t cope as well, which is more of the problem I think.
  12. Funny how they say he fell down the pecking order when he never even got in. How we have treated Silva is shameful. He was delayed registration by 4 months because of our admin error. Then he got a few random appearances and was later frozen. It is not like we have a lot of CMs doing great passing too.
  13. I don’t really see him break up play anymore. In fairness, he still runs around a lot and is combative, but his anticipation is pretty average and his tackling often bordline on giving away fouls. We can’t really speak about him in the same paragraph as Kante. He needs to take some responsibility too when we have the ball and try to move into good space to receive a pass or to help create space for others. Have some confidence boy. Then we need to speak about his ball control as PL footballer. He is simply not ready yet. Hamza is I would say more ready.
  14. He certainly seems to be a great potential and has a great positioning sense. His ball control is way better than Wilf already (although that does not say much) and he seems to have a good pass in him. He needs more game time to improve though.
  15. I thought he was one of our better players today and certainly looks comfortable in PL. Disappointed he got subbed. Gray or Simpson should have been subbed out for Maddison instead.
  16. His passes are mostly to Morgan. So 76.5% is pretty bad ...
  17. Yet, Hamza did not even feature even though he has been playing well and could play in the same role as Ndidi ... meanwhile Ndidi is irreplaceable no matter how cr*p he plays. Doesn’t make sense.
  18. Ndidi can just pass sideways or backwards to Morgan. He is just interested in getting rid of the ball.
  19. Maddison, Gray, Hamza all get dropped from time to time. Why not Ndidi when he plays worst? Any reason other than being stubborn?
  20. Sorry, but pretty frustrated right now.
  21. Ok, maybe I am overstating it, but the point is that Ndidi’s defensive offering is not enough to compensate for his lack of ball control, lack of passing ability, lack of positioning, lack of wanting the ball, etc.
  22. If not then Puel Out even though he deserves a bit more time. Ndidi provides nothing midfield. It is like he doesn’t exist. Defensively, which is supposed to be his strong point, is almost non existent as well. I am pretty sure Maddison can do a better job even in that category. Mendy is playing poorly as well. Puel should be more adventurous and try Maddison and Hamza. Maddison to try to create something from deep midfield while Hamza plays more of a sweeper midfield role. They can’t be worst than Ndidi and Mendy. Thoughts? How do we send this message to Puel?
  23. As in he knows how good Barnes is, but he feels superior to Barnes, so he didn’t want to let Barnes shine in his first game back
  24. No, that’s not what Bezzanator meant. His teammates, ie. Chilwell, Gray, Ndidi and the like just are not good enough to find him. This is a more general problem. He should work well with Vardy, Maddison, Ricardo, Albrington and Ghezzal though
  25. Granted, Chiwell is a good LB, but we cannot rely on him to be our winger as well delivering crosses. His crosses are far too predictable and late. He should only be a support on the wing and not the attacking focal point. Fuchs is much better in that regard.
