Puel got the job as Southampton had had him, and they were Ok so he couldn't have been that bad. And itll.make rudkin look imaginative. Enzo got the job as a) Southampton interviewed him,.so he can't be that bad and b) he works with pep, ergo he must be good. Plus all three probs had agents connected to the PL.

Although I'm unworried by today, I accept the players' body language doesn't look right. Winks was essentially pleading with a couple of players at the drinks break, marching animatedly around with arms pointing. Hermansen and VK broke themselves away from the group at that break for a natter. Fatawu looks frustrated.

The good old reliables are a FTSE 250 tracker and a UK small companies fund, both bought at the bottom of the market in COVID, when I started all this. In a way, it's a pity a trial wasn't done to measure COVID jabs versus placebo. Whichever side of the fence you sit, it would be interesting to see the results.

Could've been a worse week for me. Roughly 5% down on my highest peak this year but overall about 3% up from where I was at start of the year.
