  1. In the absence if the news thread, as someone on here appears frightened of debate, plane down in Brazil. Video seems to show an odd crash. Flat direct vertical spin. Rudder failure?
  2. Or of course, could be evidence that the jabs don't make a blind bit of difference. Just saying like...😉
  3. Let's hope not. He's garbage
  4. De Ketelaare (or whatever) was the player who was lined up
  5. I sincerely hope not!
  6. It's good isn't it? Enjoying it
  7. I hope he wasnt seeking tickets. As an able bodied male under the age of 84, he's got no chance. Manager or no manager.
  8. We had a cheat code with the cycling in the last four Olympics. Bit like the Aussies used to have with swimming. Unfortunately this time we will lose to the Aussies. But have every chance of beating the French and definitely will beat the Germans. They are in our mini league.
  9. Totally agree. The Lottery is an uncelebrated success story for national pride and excellence. John Major's thing, iirc
  10. Yet county's social feed celebrates when they get called up, in the way they would if they got an international call up. I'm not naive. County are shareholders in this wretched tournament, hence their enthusiasm for it's success. But a bizarre conflict of interest.
  11. Didn't realise they weren't playing. I refuse to watch it. But what a debacle. They gets their money, fairs. But a total abdication of development as per by the ECB. Surely they can't be a governing body so opposed to it's own sport. It's been 20 years now of scandal from them, ever since the famous ashes home series
  12. What a shame. Sheff Utd got a really decent lad there.
  13. You're right. I was being facetious. I loved Kels to bits but he HAD to play in a two and effectively have a roving free role Point is, we already have a Fofana in Daka. We'd be better off with a theoretical Kels + Daka rather than Daka + Daka
  14. I'm a fair man. They can live where they like. But not there. The whole world.. billions of square miles. I'm just geo blocking a miniscule 15 mile radius of that vile place. I'm.sure there's somewhere else in the world other than west bridgford that does a nice latte and eggs Benedict
  15. He's garbage. May as well kept Kels.
  16. You jest - but it's funny as so close to the truth I'd ban it - living in Nottingham that is - contractually. Part of the deal playing for the club is to represent it's community too. 20 players pumping 2m a year each - ie 40m per annum in the economy of that red filth city is unacceptable.
  17. Bearing in mind we are again likely to be vulnerable at corners with Mads' height, I'm surprised he wasn't handed a chance. And one look at the video from Brentford and Newcastle away in the relegation run in shows how valuable he can be in a low block. It's been a disaster for him. I wish him well. But Sheff Utd really is the pits of a.move. Total knackers yard for players. They play the same old garbage Yorkshire players and Yorkshire managers for decades; Billy Sharp and that fella Chris someone at the back.
  18. I like your stuff @davieG but is this satire? 'get home and lock the doors'....do you live in a down-market 1960s built hotel?
  19. His wife ain't British and can't really be classed as an 'immigrant' to the UK I meant his parents and siblings.
  20. Sunak is almost a perfect example of how immigration should work. His family embraced the UK. I'd say he was perfectly qualified to assess that many joining the UK prefer to live as they'd live at home but on someone else's turf.
  21. The Rwanda plan would be underway and perhaps he'd have doubled down on it. Also, as a legit British Asian, he's kinda got some gravitas in creating calm. Tories were a bad bad bad government. But Sunak himself was a decent guy.
  22. Yeh I'd guess so too. However, the club has form. They lied to Rodgers in our disastrous pre relegation summer. Rodgers was on holiday doing deals, speaking to players and came back to be told there was to be no money. They lied to Enzo too, who was clueless this January that firstly KDH might have to be sold and that we couldn't even sign a loan player. Truth is, only those at the club paying minute by minute tributes to monks, the thai royal family and assorted Thai tik tokers are you in the inner sanctum
  23. Mate, I find it easy to detach the incompetent and sycophantic tripe that the club admin fuels itself on. The XI lads out there on the grass, the manager and us lining up for each PL match is still a buzz.
