  1. 24 points very maximum for a win with 3 games left. 52 points ahead of Derbyshire. They would have to get maximum points and we would somehow have to average less than 7 a game. More about whether we come top or not.
  2. If it wasn't in the news, i wouldn't know that flags and roundabout painting were a thing. I've not seen anything in 'west Maidstone'.
  3. For the rest of the season as well. They must need him for their Championship games. Bit of blow as his bowling is so economical
  4. Certainly my experience from teaching 16-18 year olds. Young women can't abide Tate and any guys who try to espouse his views get considerable pushback and it's made clear that they would definitely not be 'boyfriend material'.
  5. I don't see why not, he's only got to go back for next Saturday and he's been back and forth all season.
  6. Looks no worse than Daka
  7. Despite those polling figures, let's not forget that in parliament, Labour has a massive majority and Reform just has single figure MPs. Fundamentally, Reform are still a protest party (give Farage a chance, the rest are useless), a big noise on social media and a home for disgraced Tories or general social outcasts looking for a bandwagon to hitch to. After so many years in opposition and with so many MPs, I can't see Labour calling an election in a year's time, that would be political suicide and there's no precedent for it unless Starmer had a vote of no confidence.
  8. Oh I agree, I think the markets might tank if Reform got in on this platform. But it's exactly the same election strategy as the Brexit NHS millions that never materialised.
  9. The tax threshold rise will be what a lot of people would be voting, for as it would make such a big difference to so many, quite apart from the resentment that exists in paying tax. If they watered down or postponed pushing the tax threshold up, that would generate immediate disenchantment. Despite all the rhetoric about various issues, I think the key policy that actually got Trump elected was the removal of tax payable on tips and overtime, which really cut through to people struggling week-to-week. I still maintain though, that the best they can hope for with our political system is a coalition, unless the Tories effectively disappear.
  10. Absolutely everything about that is a bad choice.
  11. Exactly, let's not forget 'partygate' etc, part of labour's electoral pitch was setting themselves as ethically different to the Tories. Still four years to go though and having taken her medicine, plenty of time for Raynor to be reshuffled back into a more senior role.
  12. Flew too close to the sun
  13. It's very clear and should be to any conveyancer. I've been through something similar myself. I suspect that having come from humble beginnings she is enjoying the benefits of her success and is trying to maximise that. Given that this is a common issue for MPs as they often have more that one property to cover constituency and parliamentary needs, she should have been far more careful and however you defend it, for most people it comes across as ostentatious flaunting of wealth and opportunism. The former Member of Parliament for Bristol South East and Chesterfield would not have approved.
  14. Does he have rights to that as it's an instrumental and Marr wrote it?
  15. Crikey and now he's gone back to his captor. Hardly good for his mental health. Rodgers thinks he's some sort of Svengali, when actually his mental manipulation of players is unhealthy and it's similar to where Mourinho started to get to at Real Madrid and Man Utd in his treatment of players, believing in his own hubris and that he could behave as he wished.
  16. His last big contract, so agent is probably saying he should play the waiting game. We certainly shouldn't be signing him, we have more than enough players and 5 or 6 of the highest earners in the Championship.
  17. I would have been happier with more sales, a few more on loan and a couple more coming in.
  18. Still too many players. You've got BDCR, Souttar, Marcal, Golding, S.Thomas, Aluko, Evans, Cover, all kicking their heels and not in that 22.
  19. Hope he does well, he needs first team football at 24. If he gets a goal a game, there will be offers in January.
  20. Keener on gaming than football. That's what I heard when he was at Everton anyway.
  21. Very close to Cardiff though, which is a great city
  22. Could be we asking £10 million as there is an offer from Saudi club. Their window doesn't shut until September 10th
  23. Just saying on Sky that deal agreed between Marseille and AC Milan for Rabiot at 10 million euros.
  24. Better move for him, than some of the other possibilities, only a few hours from his family in Belgium. Hopefully we can get a couple of players in now.
