HE ISNT SEAN DYCHE HE ISNT SEAN DYCHE MARTI CIFUENTES HE ISNT SEAN DYCHE!
-
I like him. Good bit of business.
-
They’re about the same aren’t they really? Both have done a decent job with a load of shit.
-
Exactly!
-
There’s no such thing as a “safe” option. These “safe” options tend to be Dyche or perhaps Wilder, why? Because they’re a bit older. And that’s it. The games moved on, younger expansive managers are the preferred option. He’s proven he’s able to get something out of a troubled club with a poor selection of players. So, with a squad of better players he will be able to showcase his abilities as a manager. ANY manager is a risk, Enzo was a risk, and he had less experience than Cifuentes. I like this, it’s a good move.

He’s done a very good job with QPR…. They’re like Sheffield Wednesday a turd and he’s got more out of them than they’re probably worth. With a better team at his disposal I think he’d be a decent appointment.
-
Cifuentes has done a great job with QPR. They too are an utter turd, and he really turned them around. Beat us too didn’t he on the last Championship season. He’s capable of a lot more I think, and with a decent squad of players could get them hitting the ground running fairly quickly.
-
If he brings that nasty bastard Chair with him too I’ll be happy!
-
Hold on, is this legit? More ****ing like it if so!
-
It’s not as simple as this though, we’re only ‘skint’ because we’ve hamstrung ourselves with massive expensive wages. We seem to value playing assets above all, but we’ve got so much overpaid shit in our team that we can’t get rid of, over the majority of our revenue…… so it’s just a completely flawed system that we’re deploying….. we’ve blown a hole in our ship, and are are now bucketing water out trying to stay afloat. There are clubs with a lot less money than we have but operate a much more efficient models.
-
Because it’s means we’re complicit in Top’s destruction of the club. Get behind a manger like O’Neil? And let’s not forget he openly criticised the Wolves board, and he would be coming here? I’ve seen more support from a scaffolding made of straws and hub a bubba. It would end in tears. And why should we allow Top and his mate to get away with it any longer?
-
I suppose one good thing might be we don’t lose any keys players with all of this pissing about with managers.
-
Very true.
-
Deep down, I don’t think Top wants this anymore. The emotional attachment and potentially family are probably stopping him from letting go, but the best thing he can do now is sell the club and walk away, the memories will remain memories, but he’s destroying his families legacy. Just sell the club, Top.
-
The crooks is he isn’t a DOF is he? Which makes this whole situation utterly ridiculous….. it seems Top just runs on loyalty…. Rudkin could steal his Mrs and he would still be kept in his role. I’m amazed any manager would want to come anywhere near us. Rudkin might be a nice bloke, and work hard, but he is so clearly out of his depth it’s frightening that he’s still in position. Surely Top as an alleged business person, should see this? Surely operating where more than your revenue is spent on player wages should be a red flag? This whole scenario is just mind blowing…. I mean the one thing it appears we have got right is the academy, which may end up bailing us out financially if the lads we hope develop properly….. The more you sit and think about it, the more painful it is.
-
The job he’s done at SW is actually unbelievable… they were dead and buried when he took over, and it’s clear they’ve got mountains of problems behind the scenes. Yet despite all of this he’s managed to keep them up, and last season within a short distance to the playoffs. He’s very, very highly rated and will eventually go on to manage a top side. He would be a million times better than Wilder or O’Neil. And a better long term option than Dyche. Hiring either Wilder or O’Neil would be a disaster IMO, and both would end up being sacked, and both will end up costing more to hire, invest in and sack, than Rohl will be to get out of his contract.
-
Make our voices heard in the next friendly.
-
We have a dressing room in desperate need of a lift, and cohesion…. And they’re considering Gary O’Neil….. whose Wolves side completely lost their heads brawling amongst themselves in a disgusting run of form, and having to strip players of captaincy? Doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence…… Just pay the ****ing money to release Rohl. We will spend less on him than we will sacking O’Neil in a few months.
-
Both O’Neil and Wilder would be sacked by Christmas. So, we’re going to waste more money on them, than we would hiring Rohl. We’re the definition of tying yourself in knots.
-
It’s not even complicated. The facts are we’ve ****ed our finances to the point where we daren’t pay the money.
-
If we get O’Neil, I’m cancelling my DD.
-
I’d take Dyche over Wilder and O’Neil……
-
And yet, it would be so us wouldn’t it to take Dyche as an option.
-
We do want Rohl, but it’s too complicated a situation to be resolved as quickly as we need it to be, and it’s clear we want to get him on the cheap. So, as it was with Cooper I imagine they will offer it to Dyche. We are shit scared of PSR, yet have been so neglectful with our wage structure? Doesn’t make any sense at all…… won’t dare to spend money to get a highly rated manager in, who could possibly get even this group going……. Yet we will pay average players £70k a week? It’s ****ing lunacy.
