  1. We still won’t get a deduction. The PL have ****ed it now. All this is just angry reaction, when the reality is they’ve shot themselves in the foot.
  2. Want, and can are two different things.
  3. I imagine the same outcome would happen if they were to try. Ultimately there’s an anomaly that exists between the two leagues, my understanding is neither the EFL or the EPL can punish teams when any offences were committed in different leagues to the ones they compete in at the time of charge. Until the two forge an overall body that looks after the whole pyramid it there’s nothing they can do. It would purely be a second bite of the cherry. The premier league need to instantly review the whole PRS and FFP policy, as we’ve made a mockery of it, hence the anger and rumour mill, the wider world are pissed off, because they wanted us to be lynched, and it hasn’t happened so they’re now trying to engineer situations where we get punished. Moral of the story is, always get legal aid, it works. (And the premier league really needs to get a better legal advisor).
  4. They can’t have two bites at the same cherry just because they amend the rules. Ultimately the result of this is a learning outcome for all. The premier leagues regulations clearly are either ambiguous or not fit for purpose. So all they can to is change these. I I for see a complete overhaul of PRS as it is now, and a potential overarching body that oversees both the EPL and EFL for crossover offences. The case is done against us, there’s nothing more they can do.
  5. The fact that “experts” were predicting up to 15 point deductions, anything they say I would take with an extreme amount of salt…. I.E it’s all hopefully guesswork from them.
  6. How? Half of that year was spent in the championship. The fact of the matter is neither the EPL or EFL’s regulations are water tight, it’s just been proven. A lot of the pundits are now probably slightly embarrassed and will just continue to bang the drum regardless until the news dies down, because most were convinced we were going to get done. We’ve exposed the shortcomings in the policies and it’s ultimately tied the EPL’s hands. All they can do now is look at their policies and change them, they may also have to forge an alliance the EFL to deal with cross over offences. Thats literally all that can happen now.
  7. The ‘technicality’ being the premier leagues rules appear to have been written by a child. Not our problem, it’s theirs. We didn’t cheat, we’ve clearly acted within the remits of the premier leagues own rules.
  8. But at least we have had success…… no club of our size will achieve what we have done over these last ten years!
  9. Ultimately that’s what will happen. It often does when a case going through a legal process falls down. The premier league rather than chasing us, will now need to have their policies reviewed, as all we’ve done is highlight where it falls apart.
  10. We’ve exposed how flaccid the whole process is, it’s down to the premier league to review their policies
  11. Forest need to take a look themselves, they breached in their first season…… if anyone needs a dressing down it’s them. They’ve thrown money around like Chelsea, and are still a bag of shirt. At least we’ve been successful.
  12. I see, well I’d imagine that the same conclusion would be drawn if they tried to come again. What this means is, ultimately the EPL and EFL need to come together and look at the regulations again, as shortcomings have been discovered. All of this is normal when dealing with legal processes, it’s exactly why you always get legal aid. Even if you’re in the wrong because this is what it can achieve. Yes we’ve done wrong, but the EPL clearly hasn’t been diligent enough also. Learning curve for all parties I would say.
  13. But doesn’t one of those three years involve a season in the EFL? Which is one of the reasons this whole process has fallen down on? How can there be a potential deduction if the crooks of the decisions is based on our season in the EFL? Unless I’m understanding this incorrectly.
  14. “**** THE EPL **** THE EPL, **** THE EPL **** THE EPL **** THE EPL”.
  15. This is potentially huge though for us, Cooper strikes me as a man who can use situations to his advantage, I imagine he will try and bring a feel good factor onto the dressing room. Huge cloud lifted from the club….
  16. Make in rain in January Rudkin, make it ****ing rain.
  17. “WERE LEICESTER CITY WE’LL SPEND WHAT WE WANT”
  18. ****ing auto correct….. Depay!!!
  19. Depay is still a free agent?
  20. Out of possession. Mads Ricardo Faes Coady Okoli Winks Bilal Skipp Bonnanette Mavadidi Ayew in possession Mads Faes Coady Okoli Skipp Winks Ricardo Buonanotte Bilal Mavadidi Ayew The idea being Ayew is used to play off and allow the 4 behind him run beyond him.
  21. It would help if the refereeing standard wasn’t so embarrassingly bad. We’ve even got instant video replays and still are unable to go an entire 90 minutes without making an incorrect call. It’s all well and good dishing out fines, but sort out the incompetence of the referees in this league first.
  22. If Cooper takes the shackles off and sets us up to be more attacking we can get something from this game. I’m not convinced by palace, I think they’ve done some poor business and I think at this time they’re weaker than they were last season. They are still a decent team don’t get me wrong, but I think they are there to be got at. Villa made me realise we are actually a really good team still and we’ve got some decent players, Cooper needs to trust himself to make the right calls and trust his squad.
  23. The only reason we become a yoyo team is the shoddy ownership. The relegation was down to complete and utter negligence, nothing else.
