I do now. At first I dismissed it, but is we were going to go for this type of football, he would have been the ideal candidate. At least he has enough premier league experience to make better calls than Cooper. It’s like Rodgers at his absolute worst.
-
He is ****ing shit. Always has been always will be. Lacks defensive awareness, he’s weak as piss, his quality in the final third is largely abysmal and he has a really punchable face.
-
Moyes is going to be the fixer upper. Depends who blinks first. I don’t think either Dyche or Cooper will last long to be honest. Cooper shouldn’t last long anyway, he’s clearly out of his depth.
-
He was disastrous today. His complete lack of ability on the ball costs us dearly. Skipp and Winks have to be the midfield two, and if a third is needed is be inclined to play Bilal or Bobby Reid as an 6/8. Ndidi should be used as a sub.
-
Winks should be given the armband when Coady isn’t playing. Vardy can’t start games of football anymore especially at this level.

We’re not getting a 10 point deduction. But I agree with you, Cooper is trying to set the team up to be defensively solid, but we’re not. He’s basically setting up to allow the opposition control of the game, and then they punish us eventually because we give the ball away needlessly because we’re rushing the passes. -

He was ****ing dreadful. There were so many shocking decisions… and it just becomes more difficult to accept with VAR. -
It’s ****ing outrageous he isn’t playing. I bet if you sacked Cooper today the team would look completely different.

Problem is, I think Moyes is going to be the first choice for a number of struggling clubs. And I can see Everton pulling the plug first on Dyche. They say the grass isn’t greener, but if we wanted pragmatism, you go for experience. -

I agree with you re Cooper. I would suggest that he is part of the issue, he’s just not getting the balance of the team right. -

I don’t agree with this, we don’t. We’re competing but I think the crooks is Cooper doesn’t have the balance of his team right yet. I actually thought when we actually attacked Villa we looked good, we’re showing far too much respect to opposing teams at the moment, and I think it’s Cooper being overly cautious. The team looks like it hasn’t fully clicked yet, and with more positive tactics we will pick up points. -

What worries me, is Forest fans said he struggles to get the balance of the team right and this ultimately cost him his job. And it just seems he is still struggling now. -

I think we’ve lost two points. Fulham and today we should have got two points in my opinion. We’ve played okay, but I think poor decisions by Cooper are costing us. I don’t think he’s learning quick enough. -
The most annoying thing is we could have had two points from two games and we’ve not. Thats that biggest disappointment with the last two games, we’re competing when we look good, but Cooper is making some very bad decisions which have, in my opinion cost two points.
-
If you start a game so negatively, especially against a quality opposition but continually make poor decisions you’ll get punished. Ndidi, Winks and Skipp can’t play together. However, generally I thought we were okay. Made some silly mistakes, but generally I would say there were some minor improvements. The problem is we simply can’t keep throwing games away by making simple just costly mistakes. Positives: I though Ayew was okay, he lacks in the final third but he can drive the team up the pitch. Okoli wasn’t too bad I don’t t think, would benefit with a more experienced pro along side him. We look so much better with actual attackers on the pitch. Cooper simply must start to be braver with his decision making, I’m still not sold on him at all, I think he lacks experience to make those big calls. Gonna say it, people will hate it, but this is a situation Moyes would probably be a lot better at. If we’re going to play like we are going to need someone with more experience to lead us, I just don’t trust Cooper to be that man, it’s too much of a gamble for me. We’re nearly there, but we don’t have time to be nearly there.

If that is the team. Then what is supposed to happen between the midfield and the attack? It will only work if Ndidi is the destroyer, Skipp the driving force and winks the heartbeat. But it’s Cooper. It will be like throwing baked beans into a ninja. -

All the attacking talent we have is on the bench. What is Coopers problem? -

Just got to be at it all over the pitch. Everyone delivers a 7-10 and we stand a chance of upsetting them. They’re the type of side you give an inch they will take a mile. Good team but not unbeatable. Most of my family are Villa fans, and they think they’re weaker than last year and haven’t replaced key players properly. Still a very decent side though. -

Hmmm really? You don’t think this team is better than Southampton, Ipswich, Everton and arguably Forest? There’s a mix of premier league experience and exiting young talent….. I think people at the moment are just hell bent on looking down on the team. Vardy is still better than any striker from 12th down, problem is going to be getting consistency due to his age. I don’t think any of the teams around us have better wide options than Mavadidi and Fatawu either. This team isn’t a bad squad, it just looks like it’s very much in transition at the moment. There’s enough experience in this squad to keep it up. Reflecting I think we’ve more than replaced KDH, and we’ve added…..
