  1. In certain situation the writing is on the wall….. it was with Rodgers, it was with Puel, and it already most definitely is with Cooper. The fact will be Cooper was third choice, and it’s starting to reflect that on the pitch. The one major positive to take from the opening 4 games is this squad is a lot better than people think it is, and is definitely capable of staying up, the major downside is the manager simply isn’t good enough to achieve that, his decisions so far have been beyond baffling, and in some cases are indefensible.
  2. ****ing hell, talk about negative……
  3. He’s excellent.
  4. Going to be a horrible game. They’re going to bully us and shit house a win. Anything less than a win, he has to go.
  5. Now I’ve slept on it, I’m probably more Spaghetti out now. What I’m really struggling to understand, is why on earth you leave all your attacking players on the bench, and then continue to leave all of your attacking players on the bench when you need them. To set up completely defensively like that just won’t work, leaving Vardy on who’s 37 to be the outlet? Vardy is a legend but he can’t do that…. Ayew is performing better than I thought he would, but he shouldn’t be starting, he’s the type of player you bring on at the end of the game, he would have been ideal to have come on during those last 20 minutes to help relieve pressure of the defence. There was just nothing at all to do that, and that indicates poor management. Cooper just can’t get this team right…. Elements are okay, but the overall picture is wrong… he just can’t get it right….. and it’s not difficult to see, everyone can see what the problems are but somehow Steve can’t or is unwilling to be brave, or in fact, it’s not about being brave, it’s about being about making good in game decisions which he just can’t seem to do. The criticism of him now being able to be strike a good balance between defence and attack appears to be spot on, because that exactly what’s happening. It’s inevitable he will get sacked, but the board needs to change their approach and be proactive, Cooper isn’t working here and he won’t work here. I’d get shot now, whilst you’ve still got the likes of Moyes and Potter out of work. Dyche and Martin can’t be far away from getting sacked either, so we can’t just sit here and gamble on Cooper when it clearly isn’t going to work.
  6. Absolutely spot on!
  7. As well as being a rancid tactic playing three CDM’s, it also leaves Cooper with nowhere to go, Hamza is bollocks and needs binning, so what are his other options? Ndidi played well today, granted but there’s no consistency to his him game in that position, plus Palace left massive gaps all over the pitch today that he was able to run into, a more technically gifted player may have made a better job of the chances we got. Surely it would be better to drop El Khannouss into the CM three so when we have to e ball he can push forward into a high 8, play Buonanotte on the right and Mavadidi on the left, and then Ricardo as a full back pushing into the right wing when we have possession. Kristiensen lacks quality at either end of the pitch, he just looks impressive because he plays with an angry expression and appears to work hard, but the lads ****ing rubbish….. so it further makes the situation with Ricardo even more bizarre, as he does have that quality. Cooper just seems to be making a host of poor decisions, because he’s out of his depth as a coach at this level…. I bet if we had Corberan for example, we wouldn’t be setting up like we are doing…. There’s a pragmatic approach, and then there’s just throwing on defensive players and hoping you hold out……. It’s just plain, poor coaching the blokes inept.
  8. He could have just put BDR in the mix to play the Ndidi role as it’s more advanced. And there was no need to drop to a back three…. He could have put on Bounanotte to stretch their defence a little bit and relieve a bit of pressure. It’s clear Cooper can’t get the balance of the team right…. It was just plain inevitable that Palace would equalise, and not because they deserved it, because we gave them all of their momentum by being so ****ing negative.
  9. I actually don’t think we’ve got the testicular fortitude to beat Everton. They’re shit, but they will just bully the **** out of us.
  10. Very true!
  11. We were comfortable. But I do respectfully disagree. Defensively we looked a lot better before he shifted. The thing is, it’s not defending, he’s just being extra bodies on and then gifting the momentum back to the opposition. It’s not like we’re being aggressive and pressing and really defending like we want to win. We just become passive. There doesn’t appear to be a plan, it’s a case of throwing bodies on and hoping for the best. It’s three times now we’ve seen this defensive approach from Cooper and three times it’s ended in the same way, conceding soft goals. I just don’t think Cooper is tactically good enough for this level.
  12. The biggest issue we have is the inevitability of conceding goals. We’re soft, and that’s very much a Cooper issue.
  13. They will do us. 1-2 Everton.
  14. @StanSP spot on today.
  15. I agree, it was completely brain dead from Coady, however when you look at the bigger picture regardless of how it came, the second goal was coming. Cooper’s not to blame for Coady’s mistake, but he’s to blame for him even being on the pitch. Cooper so far has lived up to the one criticism Forest fans had of him, which was he struggled to strike a balance between attack and defence. We were excellent for the majority of the game, and in my opinion deserved to win. But, just as Palace show a bit of urgency, Cooper goes full on defensive mode but really badly. Hamza shouldn’t be anywhere near that squad, let alone getting on the pitch…. If you want to do that, surely you bring BDR on? He’s experienced and disciplined enough to play the role N’didi was playing. Coady? He’s barely played, hindsight is great I agree, but was bringing him on really wise? I just feel Cooper makes poor defensive decisions, he pretty much decided the last 15 minutes were to be dictated by Palace. We had no outlet, and were happy to just gift them chance after chance, in hope we could hold out. The problem is, I thought Palace were pretty average today, but we generated their momentum and Pressure for them and so far we’ve shows that we can’t defend like that and have always conceded. Tactically, Cooper is majorly floored, and he will continue to cost us points if he carries on trying to defend like he did. If you’re going to set up like that it needs to be meaningful and aggressive, we were passive and hopeful…..
  16. Coopers howling tactical ineptitude has cost us once again. We’re fully aware Coady made a poor challenge. But Cooper can’t set up a team to defend. In the last three games when we have, we’ve conceded goals and it was going to be no different today. His substitutions are absolutely horrendous….. palace are as limp as they come in front of goal, and yet we just gave them the impetus late on to get something from the game. There was no way to relieve the pressure, he went full on defence mode, and we simply can’t deal with it under him. He’s yet again tossed points away, he can **** right off, he’s ****ing shit.
  17. So inviting loads of unnecessary pressure onto the team with shocking substitutions isn’t a problem? One mistake doesn’t outweigh yet another tactical **** up.
  18. But Cooper’s tactics invited tonnes of unnecessary pressure onto us again. We haven’t defended any scenario like it all season, and no surprise, we throw the game away again.
  19. Get ****ing rid. Scandalous.
  20. Cooper out.
  21. Palace will win this now.
  22. ****ing pathetic tactics from the manager.
  23. There it is.
  24. Just giving up chance after chance.
  25. If palace score they will win it 3-2.
