To be fair, I actually think despite being dreadfully boring, Southgate’s approach will likely work. I don’t think England will be beaten in open play, unless a team aims to put the game out of sight. Defensively, not many chances are being given up and teams are being reduced to a walking pace due to the pace of England’s game. I think they make the final, but it is likely to be England V France, two similar styles and there’s no was France play any differently, it is then Southgate takes the breaks off and goes to an all out attacking display. I would say it’s England’s tournament to lose now. -
Because he’s had one good season, and he’s 28. Trust me, he’s not got it for the EPL, he’s far too big a gamble to pay anymore than £5m.

We can still sign players for £20-30m the deal would be spread over a number of seasons. We may just have to insert some clauses to ensure players will be able to leave if the worst was to happen and we don’t stay up.

One thing for sure is, this lot can take a Pen. Fancy England for the final now. Don’t fancy either of Turkey or Netherlands to knock them out. -

I can’t see them scoring though, unless it’s a set piece or an England error. They too lack that something in the final third. This will end up being an undeserved 1-0 England win in normal time, or penalties. -

They also don’t play at snails pace. The pace of the game is far too slow. -

Second half has been dreadful. -
Is this a game that was played prior to Jesus?

Can’t see Switzerland scoring from open play unless it’s a long range worldie or an England error. Generally it’s much better but the final third just isn’t happening at the moment. One goal will win this. -

All round better performance from England today. A much more harmonious performance, there is just a slight lack of cutting edge at the top end of the pitch. They are dealing with Switzerlands press fairly well. Problem is for England, can they build momentum through the game? -
I thought Wolves were on the edge? They’re one of the clubs who are being watched aren’t they?
-
So, we won’t sign anyone else?

Mardy bitch Dart is back on the court again. Disappointed that the commentators are so pro given her embarrassing behaviour V Boulter. Hopefully she gets slapped today.

He can cover multiple positions. He is experienced and he does despite what many feel, possess some quality. It’s not a bad option to rotate in and out of the squad.

This coming from a chap who says “Nadidi”.

We’re going to need some grafters next season, regardless of what we think as fans. If we’re serious about staying up we’re going to have to make some necessary signings. BDR certainly fits that category, he’s a steady performer, with a little bit of sauce on the side I’d say. It’s like going shopping and sacrificing the beers for washing up liquid, you don’t want to get it, you’re not interested in it, but you know you can’t wash the dishes with beer, you want the beer, but you don’t necessarily need the beer, yet you definitely need the washing up liquid, so you just have to suck it up and get it.
