  1. They may as well change their name and badge the ours. They’ve had that many players off us……..
  2. It doesn’t, it suggests he wants to go to Chelsea over a Brighton…..
  3. He’s got a better attitude than DD, but when you compare him to other players in that role within that (big 6) group, he’s nowhere near as good. I like the lad, think he’s a good player and hard worker, and to be fair I reckon he won’t go unless he knows we’re getting a good deal in return. He has good footballing morals as he’s proven, and we know Susan drives a hard bargain so we will end up with either the cash we want or at least one player we want in return. Due to FFP this will be the way the game goes, clubs buying players and swapping / including others within the deals.
  4. There’s not no chance at all….. Enzo wants KDH…… and they don’t want to pay over £30m so actually, I’d say we’re in a much better position to get him over them, because we have a bargaining chip in KDH. Pure profit for both of us with both being home grown.
  5. I’ve been told Hutchinson and Colwill are who we want. One purchased one on loan.
  6. It’s more likely to be a stunt to convince Chelsea so cough up some money. Because they’re dreadful negotiators these days. Probably offer 10 and a pack of jazzies and think that’s good business.
  7. It’s exactly what they want FFP and PRS to do, essentially cripple teams like ourselves from competing. We are being coerced into selling our assets continually to tread water, and avoid another “Leicester City”…… its why collectively we need to take a stance against the EPL, unless every single club tells them to go **** themselves, nothing will ever change, it will only get worse.
  8. Let’s face it, he’s off to Chelsea if anywhere.
  9. I was going to the same post, but you’ve nailed it far more eloquently than I would.
  10. Sideshow Bob brothers.
  11. Apparently the players are having to bring their own pack ups into work now, so **** knows how we can afford to sign any players.
  12. Are we buying our templates of Teemu because of budget problems?
  13. Bin off Faes for this guy and I’ll be all over it!
  14. Yes please.
  15. The way around it, is every club collectively agree to breach together. The whole lot would just face plant then surely.
  16. They sold a bit of their stadium to themselves for millions, apparently that’s all okay though.

We will have to have less of this optimism please, we are supposed to be painting the picture that we are skint, wondering around in our stained pants eating stale porridge…….
  18. Hold on……. Can’t we just identify as a club who hasn’t breached FFP regulations? Thats a thing in this day and age isn’t it?
  19. We’re a completely different club, so we can’t be hit with any PRS breaches.

  21. Managers are their own people, and their success can’t be compared to others, only themselves. We can get hung up on minute details, but what we can say about him is he’s adaptable and clearly a good learner, because his Forest team played differently to his Swansea team….. this tells me he has an ability to adapt depending on the resources he has. His work with Forest was impressive, to turn them around in the short space of time he has shows he can quickly adapt and get almost immediate results. Which gives me hope in his ability to learn and develop his managerial ability, he managed to adapt from Swansea to Forest, and he will have to adapt again. I think he’s more cultured than we give him credit for. One thing we’ve got to stop as a fan base is being so mardy, we know better than anyone what a collective effort can achieve, if Cooper comes into a club that doesn’t want him, he is facing an uphill battle from the off. I started out being anti, but rather than staying that way I did some research into Cooper, to give the bloke a chance….. as the other half said, “how can you write someone off before they’ve even started”…. Cooper is actually a forward thinking manager, who has an ability to adapt quickly and seeks to get the best out of his resources, rather than just try to force a style onto a team that may not be capable of executing it. He did struggle to balance Forest in the EPL, but we all recognise the drastic measures Forest took to stay up, for which they have been punished….. so given more of a chance to have a say on the squad, he may have had more success…. With the greatest respect (not so much) to the broccoli brigade…. They’re an absolute mess of a club, so it’s hardly surprising he couldn’t sustain anything there, there’s no long term vision at the club. Let’s get behind him and the team, and give us half a chance of staying up.
  22. Young lady behind the drive thru at McDonalds told me she’s heard it’s going to be +100. Allegedly the EPL have got confused what + and - mean.
  23. Pearson didn’t do well anywhere else because he was only as good as the team around him. It wasn’t Pearson alone who made us a success it was the whole team. Cooper I only 44 so he’s really young in terms of management, but he is already experienced. He’s done something different at both Swansea and Forest, and had a degree of fortune with it. There’s no denying that the job he did at Forest was brilliant, and it wasn’t just because of promotion, he did it in a lot less time than Pearson and managed to keep Forest in the PL despite them being largely a disorganised mess. Moyes would never have been a good choice, I think he’s done, his last season at West Ham was rancid his football is largely horrible to watch and he is not what the club want in terms of direction. I’d have Cooper over Moyes every time, his last dance was the European trophy, I don’t think he will get another decent job in football again. Cooper needs to be assessed with what he does here, his open letter was eloquent and considered, and he comes across as a guy who has a plan. What gives me hope is his willingness to use youth players, and it’s clear that he likes his scouts to find young talent across the globe. He strikes me as the type of guy that if he has the tools to do his job, he will be successful.
  24. Thing is, he really did do a good job at Forest. They’ve been nothing for the best part of nearly three decades, and managed to get them promoted, out of the blue, and keep them up despite having a maniac as an owner. And has Nuno actually done any better? There’s portions of the Broccoli army who don’t think he has, I think one of the main complements is, Brighton fans wouldn’t have Potter back, Forest fans would have Cooper back…
  25. He made one fatal mistake, other than that Saka barely got into the game. He played alright.
