Just got to be at it all over the pitch. Everyone delivers a 7-10 and we stand a chance of upsetting them. They’re the type of side you give an inch they will take a mile. Good team but not unbeatable. Most of my family are Villa fans, and they think they’re weaker than last year and haven’t replaced key players properly. Still a very decent side though.

Hmmm really? You don’t think this team is better than Southampton, Ipswich, Everton and arguably Forest? There’s a mix of premier league experience and exiting young talent….. I think people at the moment are just hell bent on looking down on the team. Vardy is still better than any striker from 12th down, problem is going to be getting consistency due to his age. I don’t think any of the teams around us have better wide options than Mavadidi and Fatawu either. This team isn’t a bad squad, it just looks like it’s very much in transition at the moment. There’s enough experience in this squad to keep it up. Reflecting I think we’ve more than replaced KDH, and we’ve added…..

Completely disagree. They’ve signed a lot of players but they’re mostly championship quality. I would say Ipswich has taken a massive risk with their signings. We’ve had a good window. People at the moment want to moan for the sake of moaning…. The club can do nothing right in some people eyes at the moment. But, this window hasn’t been bad at all. This team is better than Ipswich’s….. The two big factors are is Cooper good enough to get the team going. And how will we deal with the points deduction. I’m happy with where the teams at, we’ve no choice but to try and get a few savvy deals and we’ve done that. The only question mark is Skipp for £20m+….. This season is all about survival, this team is capable of a 17th place finish, that’s all we need.

But are the geriatrics at the KP kewl enough to sing stone roses……

When you consider what we were going for, this is a better option than expected. Edouard admittedly seems to have lost his way at palace in recent times, but as it has been said he was excellent at Celtic. Brendan wanted to bring him here and we opted for Patson instead. He has ability, he’s proven that already there is a quality player there. Technically he’s excellent and whereas he may lack a bit of work rate, he appears to have a personality that Cooper will get the best out of. This is one of those that can go either way, and one thing I’ll credit Cooper for, he seems fairly good at getting the best out of certain players and I’ve got a good feeling about this one. He should settle fairly quickly as he has Ayew here, and it’s a new chance for him to get his career back on track. Im all for it, much better signing than we anticipated in my opinion. This team is capable of staying up.

We’ve got better attacking players now as well.

Considering we were looking at Fofana, Broken Broja and homophobic Egyptian….. (allegedly). This isn’t bad……. His form with palace hasn’t been particularly brilliant, but playing most of his football under Roy “stinks of piss” Hodgeson probably didn’t help. He was good at Celtic and has a mint chant. It could have been a lot worse in my opinion. Give the lad a chance, magic Cooper might bring enough out of him to do a job.

They’ve had a poor window. Eze will be propping up that team himself.
