Ayew could potentially play as a false 9, and be the one to play off. The goals would have to come from the supporting midfielders. It could work, because I think all of the attacking midfielders can contribute, but you’ll need two of them to hit double figures.

I’d say Percy is more reliable than Sky. Whose contact is probably the ever reliable Bob Tanner, or the equally as reliable Rob Dorset if he’s even still a thing?

I think that the club will be trying to bring a striker in. Regardless of that report. Perhaps it’s a bit of a ploy from the club to help us go under the radar a bit to sign someone. I’ll put my neck on the line and say we will have a striker on loan from Chelsea, who remains to be seen.
