We were only interested in three….. Potter wanted him and his team to have full control of transfers and we said no…… Corberan is subject to a release clause which means messing around with finances and waiting, which the club didn’t want to do, Cooper was the one who agreed to all of the clubs demands. They’ve made it clear it was a fluid process, and it boiled down to one of these three choices. This idea that managers have rejected us left right and centre is ridiculous. To make a few points clear. 1. We’ve got money, plenty of it, we can spend money, we just need to make sure to don’t breach PRS by spending too much money. 2. the points deduction probably won’t happen until November, and it will be a maximum of 8 points, which we could well be well clear of by the time it’s implemented. 3. as a fan base we need to stop being so negative, I’ve been guilty of it, but the facts are Cooper is our manager now, and it’s a fantastic opportunity for him to A, properly show people what he’s about, because the club will back him, and B, he’s not a fluffy manager who has one fixed ideology. Coopers history with youth players should be exciting any academy product that’s showing an ounce of potential will get a chance, which is what we want considering we’ve build this mega training facility for just that. And two, a mate of mine who’s a red broccoli fan, said Cooper is red hot on scouting, and likes to find unearthed gems from around the globe, so @Ric Flair should hopefully be on board with that. Now he’s in place, let’s stop doom mongering and writing the season off before it’s even started, and back the lads.

That’s not strictly true. It’s more because it would have taken time, and the club wanted a swift appointment. They’ve got transfer business to finalise and can’t afford to be pissing around waiting, hence why they’ve decided to move for Cooper.
-
Had a long hard think about this, just can’t get on side with Cooper. Hoping to be proven wrong, but can’t help feel this is a poor decision.
-
I think this is a completely Rudkin move. He was involved in the youth set up for many years and is probably aware of Cooper. It just makes no sense considering Top is obsessed with wanting to play like Man City. I don’t even know what Coopers style is…… The more I sit and think about it, the worse I feel. The club have just out yet another massive divide between them and the fans.

He’s already our most unpopular manager ever, and he hasn’t even started yet 😂
-
They’re shit though….
-
I’ve got a feeling this will go down like an absolute shit sandwich.
-
They shouldn’t be facts. Which is a fact.

In the last ten years we’ve won the PL, completed against Atletico Madrid in the champions league…… finished in the top 6 twice, played Roma in a European semi final… won the FA cup, and have taken all of the “big six” to the cleaners at least once……. We’ve just appointed a manager who got sacked from a rival who’ve achieved a whopping 70 points over two seasons….. if this isn’t an indication of how far this club has fallen I’ll never know……. It’s tragic.

I think O’hare is ****ing dog shit. Why we’re looking at him…….
-
It’s likely that he’s emphasised his willingness to utilise the academy. Thats what I’m particularly excited about with Cooper, Braybrook, Nelson and Alves are all likely to get minutes.
-
One word on Potter, if it is as the media are suggesting, and he is the one ****ing around, then do we really want him here? We need someone who wants to be here, and clearly Potter isn’t sure. Which means if we were to start well under him, he would likely piss off at the first opportunity. I think Potters a genuine flight risk, so with that in mind, I’m glad we’re moving on from him.
-
Look up the word Obligation.
-
The club are dicing with danger here. Cooper starts slowly and he will be a dead man walking, the potential for this to go completely wrong is very high.
-
According to the guardian we have money to spend…..
-
I’m actually quite positive. Cooper is fantastic with youth players, and we’ve a couple of exciting prospects that need to be played. If he can get the best out of them, then brilliant.
-
Cooper is at Seagrave apparently. Could be duff info but there you go.
-
I’ve just read an article in the Ibstock Gazette, sports pull out, that Chuck Norris is in advanced talks to become the new manager?
-
Percy hasn’t got a glue anymore. So all will be revealed soon I guess………….
-
Im forever moaning about people’s moaning.
-
We would moan regardless of who it was. We just like moaning, we’re a bunch of mardy ****ers….. if Pep was announced we would find something to winge about.
-
Rotting? When they’re potentially about to appoint a manager currently out of their depth?
-
Oooooo Graham Potters magic, he wears a sorting hat, he could have gone to Slitheryn but he didn’t fancy that. He told Draco Malfoy, chat shit and get banged, I wonna go to Griffindor the best house in the land…..

England won’t have a head coach.
