  1. If we selected Cooper ahead of CC, either he doesn’t want it, or Cooper lied in his interview.
  2. Obviously not 😂
  3. Sounds a bit like a civil war is brewing between PL teams and the EPL, going on what was on talk shite this morning. I can see the whole thing collapsing over the next year or so.
  4. Will this go towards FFP?
  5. The maximum amount of points deductible at the time of the breach is 8 points, so to make an example of us it would be 8 points. They tried to deduct 12 off Everton and that was very quickly squashed, because it’s illegal. In terms of co-operation, you only have to co-operate with the panel who ultimately make the final decision, if we comply with them, then they will make the necessary adjustments. There’s a lot of scaremongering and guesswork going on in the media….. this is exactly why we’ve got legal backing, so they can’t have our pants down.
  6. Just because the bookies odds have shortened doesn’t mean that it’s definitely going to be him…… We knew he’s Interested, so that’s going to shorten the odds somewhat……..
  7. Is this a joke or?
  8. We will win the treble!
  9. Can we spare ourselves from one negative post at least for a day? **** me.
  10. Corberan will be the main target, he is who we will initially go for. Then I imagine Cooper and RVN (if he is interested) will be interviewed, and who ever impresses will land the job. My thoughts are Cooper will likely impress, as he will I imagine know more about the squad and will probably mention that he will focus on the academy too. My preferred choice is Corberan, because I just think the job he has done at both Huddersfield and WBA was superb, considering what he had to work with. Cooper dispute being around for a few years is a bit of an unknown. Swansea was probably more stable than Forest, Forest is a bit like throwing a hand grenade into a night club, so I think he actually did a decent job there, Nuno has been no better at all…. RVN I’m getting less sure on as days go by, so Corberan would be my preferred source.
  11. Players leaving is slightly different to the manager….. only a week before he gave the board his word he was staying and was even making plans with them, including advise they withdraw from the pre season tour….. and then out of the blue, you clear off…. Bound to be a bit annoyed, making all those plans and then upping and leaving at the first opportunity.
  12. It should be said that not every manager will view the situation as bad as some are on here. Maresca’s taken an equally as risky and hopeless job in my opinion. Because his best might never be enough, and he could end up out of Chelsea as quickly as he got in…… but because he benefits him financially it’s seen a better challenge that this? Everyone is aware that things will be tough next season, but there’s a couple of things to remember. One, we will be able to sign players, there will be an ability to do this….. two, don’t believe everything printed in the media, we won’t be getting deducted 15 points……. The deduction in reality will be 8 or less, I’d take 8 and still be confident under the right management that we could stay up….. But back to the challenge, this would be a great challenge for any manager…. Because essentially we’ve been written off by everyone, including some of our own fans….. so the pressure is off then? If we end up in a relegation battle it doesn’t really matter as it won’t be a shock to many, so just imagine what it will do for a managers career if they keep us up, in what people are suggesting is already an impossible task? Never, we’ve already done the impossible, and I stand by my views, we get the right man in, are shrewd in the market, we have more than enough to stay up. So, yes, I still think that this is a good role for a manager.
  13. Because at the moment some seem to want to loathe the club in every way. I think some fans need to think about what made them fall in love with Leicester city, I think there’s a lot of fans who are so perplexed with what is going on behind the scenes, they’ve forgotten what it truly means to be a fan of the club. I don’t think you’ll find a set of fans this despondent after what has been an excellent season.
  14. Don’t believe every word that’s printed in the paper……
  15. He will be sacked after we beat them at home.
  16. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the club having a nibble.
  17. He will last three months.
  18. I think we’re broken as a fan base. We’ve been overloaded with ridiculousness for 9 years that we don’t know what’s normal.
  19. See, Cooper is excellent with youth…. So, it’s one thing to just dismiss him, but he’s proven he’s good at bringing youth players through, which is something we may need.
  20. Going by the fans I know, they’re saying most of the fans aren’t on board….
  21. Worth noting that Everton stand a chance of going into administration if they’re not careful, and it’s probably more of a possibility than some think.
  22. Problem he has is, most of their fan base are fuming he’s been appointed. So as soon as it doesn’t go right, he’s properly ip against it…..
  23. Will it? Minus Barnes and Maddison who the latter was largely useless that season, and Youri who clearly couldn’t give a **** any more. I disagree, we shouldn’t have got relegated. There were issues brewing behind the scenes, but our relegation firmly rests at the hands of Brendan, he wasn’t interested in the project anymore and wanted out, he could have guided that team to safety if he could be arsed, but he he wasn’t arsed and we just ended up with a Mexican stand off of him asking to be sacked, and us not wanting to sack him. I suppose we deserved to go down, but it was completely avoidable. We would have just ended up in a similar situation to Everton and maybe would have had to scramble around in the bottom 8 for a while…. So I don’t think Brentford or Bournemouth were better than us, or Forest, like I said our relegation on my opinion was self inflicted. And as for going forward, we should be able to do deals provided they’re sensible. It’s clear the club can do deals, we’re in a new financial period so we can make signings but need to make sure we don’t do stupid signings like we have been doing, and handing out ridiculous contracts. The points deduction no matter what the media say, will be a max of 8 points. That isn’t insurmountable, with the right managerial appointment, sensible transfers, and the right attitude we can over come the odds. But this has also got to come from the fans too, we’ve been written off many times over the last decade so you’d think we would know by now not to. If there’s anyone capable of the ridiculous, it’s us.
