  2. Well how the results go for us I'm expecting a leeds goal any minute now.
  3. Given how few they can deport I can seeing it becoming more and more of a bad joke.
  4. You know things are bad when theres riots during volleyball matches. Greek football goes behind closed doors for two months - BBC Sport
  5. Well done everton. Everton scoreboard responded to poverty chanting in Chelsea game with foodbank advert - BBC Sport
  6. I wonder what foreign players/managers think when they come to England, must be a bit of a shock to play in front of much quieter crowds. I did chuckle to myself when I saw footage of Mourinho telling the Roma fans to 'calm down' when he was in England he was regularly trying to gee the crowds up.
  7. Without the points deduction Everton would be 3 points behind Newcastle.
  8. He would if more than 20 people sang it so he could hear it.
  9. Makes you wonder if we're particualry passionate about any sport in England..or maybe we just don't like to show it?
  10. Doesnt really equate to that many clubs though, plenty of clubs at our level and lower down that have lots of empty seats. Maybe price is the issue there?, don't know. For me its a cultural issue. And maybe even a genetic one, we are notoriously reserved.
  11. Weird that this doesnt translate to other countries though, even scotland have a huge numbers of young fans with many of them part of supporter groups. It seems like its an english thing.
  12. I meant the current game. We have recovered a little.
  13. I was going to say before the game that this will be villas best chance for a top 4 spot.....but maybe they can start to dream about winning the league?
  14. You know things are bad when the windies are outplaying you.
  15. Agreed, we've seen it at other clubs who've introduced it. Instead of sitting in silence they stand in silence. I was a big supporter of safe standing, not just because the ability to choose but because I thought it would improve the atmosphere, I was wrong. Its a cultural thing. And we've lost ours.
  16. It's very difficult to enjoy yourself or get passionate about watching football in England when everything is done to stop just that. If you love to sit in silence and watch the football whilst paying through the nose to do it you can still enjoy watching live football in england. That's who the clubs target, thats the fanbase they want, and thats the fanbase they've got. It may sound a bit harsh but if you love live football because of the atmosphere, the colour, the noise, the togetherness, feeling you are part of the club then go to games abroad instead.
  17. So am i right in thinking apart from the empty stands, the fans moaning, the embarrassing atmosphere, it was pretty good?
  18. Thought about whacking a few quid on Liverpool at 1-0....didnt bother.
  19. I agree we prefer silence.
  20. Anyone else reckon he's lining himself up fpr one of those free speech type podcasts? The ones where bigoted racists can talk to other bigoted racists about bigoted racist type stuff.
  21. As Dale knocks out Murphy, talk about murphy going from one extreme to another.
