I noticed Anstey beat the league leaders 6-0 away from home.

The same that said 'keep politics out of football' lol.

Well of course, they hate Farage so don't want him there. They'd be reform voters who'd probably hate Polanski being there. And so it goes....

On paper the team is pretty much a Championship side. We did walk through the divisions very quickly.

And that 17 year old american winning gold, only turned 17 in demember, I still had a paper round at that age. -
Real or Bayern, PSG, Barcelona. I wouldn't even fancy them again Ath Mad...in fact not 100% sure they'll get past sporting.

They definately won't be.

we've always been a rugby city....

Man city fans silent too, the culture really is well and truly dead in england, no appetite to change it either.

Fans are bored, viewers are bored, the best the commentator could come up with is 'it's not been an uninteresting first half'.
-
I've mentioned the same before. I guess the lack of investment means there's no chance of that happening.

Ronnie v Thepchaiya Un-Nooh ...pretty much my dream final.

English tifo/active fan group culture

True. But it's interesting how the rest of the fan base are so much more supportive. Imagine the reaction of our fans if there was a load of lads letting off pyro and waving huge flags at away games every week. I guess they've never had the gentrification of the culture that we've had to endure. It's great though, you don't need to travel to italy you can go to patrick instead. -

I watched Patrick v St Johnstone last night, Only 6,000 there but created a great atmosphere.. Both sets of ultra groups going for it all game. I read the St Johnstone ultras actually help pay for rail seating (proper rail seating not the english bodge job), and also sponser the womens team. It seems the ultras are really embedded in their clubs. FCU (away fans) had a huge flag waving all game, all I kept thinking is what would our flask army think of having their view blocked. -

Scottish though, so close enough. Incredible the change in a decade north of the border. Never thought it would catch on in the UK...i wonder why the mentality is so different, being so close you'd think it would be similiar. Had to laugh at the one bloke they managed to find that actually got caught with pyro... and in the end they dropped the case...LOL...now that's scotland. -

I think it was 2-0 helped... by VAR, you'll see a very different porto in the quarters., and its 2 leg's. I reckon Porto will have too much this time around.

Their success is now tainted forever, how can you call them former premier league champions when they effectively cheated, players who probably wouldn't have gone that helped them win the title. -

Or you enjoy everything. -
English fans are apathetic in nature, very few clubs could muster any decent sized protests.

I can't think of another fan base where such a low amount of fans actually sing. -
The opposite Wrexham. They were in the national league when we won the title, maybe we'll be in the national league when they win it.

Its a shame they seem to have no ambition as far as their stadium is concerned. It really is a lower league ground. I understand there are accessibility issues to contend with but seemingly there's no plans for any increase in capacity.
