Agreed, it's been mentioned before the lack of passion. We have a load of players seemingly thinking they'd win the league or at least be fighting for promotion and that soon they'll be back in the premiership and the trips to the likes of blackburn just a distant memory. Now the reality has hit, they have nothing to give.

I think its pretty incredible that many want to watch us.

Yeah i think it is, only about 10 miles from leeds though. It is strange that we've never had another club thats really come close to professional football. As far as I know Leicester United (enderby), Hinckley and Shepshed Charterhouse all came within 2 divisions of the football league.

Surely the whole point was to form a club based on your own principles and run it the way the fans want it? All clubs have to start somewhere, if everyone supported their local side they me a tiny fraction of clubs that we have now. Plus forming your own club means that the fans are all based at one club rather than scarttered around various other clubs. And if leicester fans followed the likes of FC united they could maintain their link and identity with Leicester city.

Please to see York doing so well, would love to see them come up this season. The only downside is their new rather dull stadium. Averaging around 6.500 which is much more than they did when they were last a league club.

What a game the final game could be. Weird that its Blackburn again given they stayed up by beating us a couple of seasons a go.

One that sticks in my mind is beating palace 1-0 in 1991/92 season. I think because it was so different to the previous season when we escaped relegation on the last day. And palace had finished 3rd in the top division and had also reached the final in 1990. Playing any team from the top division was a big deal. Plus we had gone 7 seasons without winning an FA Cup game. I was there and remember the goal clearly and Smiths reaction to it. Another late goal that seemed to happen all the time for us back then.

I wonder how many southampton fans left at half time, a midweek game with a long drive back home. Imagine listening to a once in a lifetime comeback whilst driving home.

I'm sure there is another fanbase that might have done the same, but we must be in a very small group of clubs with fans that would do this. But it's no surprise, the last time we were relegated to league one fans applauded. Its just how our fan base is. Good luck with protesting etc....but those protesting will be in the vast minority.....thats not a reason not to protest though.

So thats only sheff wed and newport that have conceaded more than us in all 4 divisions.
