Including Daka, according to the stats. Glad he's finally awake!

Still the best option up front. Admittedly in a very bad bunch. One goal doesn't erase a truly embarrassing year for him, and we need to either find a new option in January or give Evans a chance, but of the three we have he does the most for the players around him. I'm pretty done gaslighting myself into believing that Ayew's greed on the ball is good hold-up play, Patson's movement is far better at stretching defenses.

Ruud's first game against West Ham, felt like we'd turned a leaf on the turgid Cooperball experiment. Oh sweet summer child, if only I'd known...

Don't give the club any ideas after Abdul's

It's days like today I'm grateful for non-league.

Another team likely to leapfrog us with any sort of points deduction then EDIT - forgot about their absolute stitch up of an abandonment against Ipswich too, they should be above us right now.

He's not particularly skilful but damn are we missing someone with the box-to-box energy Ohashi has for Blackburn. It may be a stereotype but it's a true one - Japanese players always give 100%. God I miss Shinji.

Wow Preston are bad at defending set pieces.

This game's finally come to life, 2 goals in 2 mins

'I Want People To Be Closer' - Khun Top Speaks

More interested in action than words. The reshuffle is what matters at the moment, and as predictable as it was, Jon Rudkin still having anything to do with KPFC negates any positive impact it could have. -
Unironically stick him up front, he scored as many in that game as our forward line have all season

We're truly two cheeks of the same arse.

Leicester City vs Stoke (H) 22nd Nov 3pm - Pre match
OntarioFox replied to whoareyaaa's topic in Leicester City Forum
Scraping a win against the worst team in the league doesn't exactly fill me with confidence for this one, especially with Nelson back out. It also needs noting that while they're not exactly free-scoring, Stoke have the best defence in the league so far - they're conceding less than a goal a game on average, which is why they're third in the table. Most we can ask for is that three ghosts visit our strikers during the international break and convince them to change their ways. Bah, humbug. Can't really see anything but a grim 1-0 or 2-0 loss. Despite it being our signature this season, I'd be surprised if we come away with a draw. -
Top doesn't really fit with many chants, but I guess as much as it's overdone, could do either 'King Power' or 'Top and Rudkin' to Sloop John B. 'Get out of our club Get out of our club Top and Rudkin Get out of our club'
-
I didn't even realise it was Dancing Queen until someone pointed it out to me. Sounds better when you actually sing it in the way the song was written rather than the weird minor-key rendition that's doing the rounds. It's a mint chant though. Far rather Abba than 'You Are Not Alone' from MJ for that crap 'on a Saturday' one.

Agree, though in this case it's more like there's this one twat in a position of power at the company, and he's spent the best part of a decade doing everything possible to piss off the company's customers, failing to develop any coherent business strategy, and refusing to communicate whatsoever with shareholders concerned about the lack of forward thinking or vision. All of his failures lead to the company's decline as a serious business, jeapordising the job security of the staff in entry level positions by tanking the finances to the point there might be layoffs if not full administration... but inexplicably he is kept in post because the Chairman likes him and lets him tend his horses on weekends. Then eventually a handful of absolute whoppers who rely on the company for their own business hear about how shite this person is on social media, and hop on the growing bandwagon calling for him to resign or get fired. The calls continue to grow louder and louder, but they lack the braincells to let it run its course and take it too far - one weekend, they get tanked up and decide to send the fella death threats through his letterbox. It quite obviously crosses a line and they're rightfully called out and, where necessary, prosecuted for inciting violence. But they're still customers who have seen a company they rely on absolutely tank on this guy's watch, and they've every right to be angry. They can't go elsewhere because they're tied to the company on a lifelong contract. Some might say they have a deeper attachment to the company than is reasonably healthy, but they're still vital to it's existence and survival as a business. So it really pisses them off to see obvious, blatant mismanagement before their eyes go unpunished. And their pea brains think intimidation and hatred are the way to get a point across, so that's what they do. They can't sack him themselves, but they're not going to go sign a contract with a different company, it doesn't work like that.

Only a matter of time before FOAD stickers start popping up around the city

Would love to know his salary and contract length.

The cynical side of me thinks they wouldn't have made this statement if we'd lost that game. I imagine they expected a bunch of white knights to come rushing to their defense in the comments on social media. No bother, even looking at the fallout from this it looks like they'd have been better off saying nothing. The KPFC voice is sounding quieter with each passing week, and long may it continue.

I mean the silver lining if he is out past January is that Souttar is almost guaranteed to have a path back into the fold. Whether he can be arsed to stay if Sheff Utd come calling is another matter. I'm still praying that Nelson / Souttar are our primary CB pairing by the end of the season, regardless of league position. They're both proven, no-nonsense defenders at this level with high praise from the fans of teams they played for. I'm not too bothered who rotates / partners in a 3 with them so long as one or both of Faes and Vesty are sent packing. I'm just bored of supposed ball-playing "defenders", man. Nelson's been a breath of fresh air in his recent cameo, it's gutting to know we've got to go back to the clown show again for however long it takes. The only issue if the two of them do end up playing together is pace, but then again we might have a manager by then who has three braincells to rub together and realise that, yes, you can play your centre backs deep and still play good transitional football.
