Is Millwall's keeper really called that? The MILLWALL keeper? He must have a right pair

Just call me Mystic Meg

Ward failing to come out to narrow the angle. Coady failing to track a runner. Perfect. Shove it up your bum, Wrexham.
-
Reminds me of the famous line from our 4-0 at Derby - 'Chris Powell just can't keep up with Emile Heskey's pace'
-
After all the hype, Birmingham and Wrexham being locked in a relegation battle while Charlton do okay would be VERY funny.
-
I've mentally blocked last season and placed it firmly in the pigeon part of my brain. So I forgot about that
-
Didn't realise Ryan Fraser was at Southampton, was always a thorn in our side for Bournemouth. Hopefully he's as much of a pest today.

Coady's getting sent off. I'm manifesting it.

Your mood in 10 words? - Never been less excited. Rudkin out. Top, sell the club. Where will we finish? - After seeing how garbage Brum and Ipswich were yesterday, I think I've been overestimating the competition. I still think we get 4th / 5th and we bottle the playoffs semi, but wouldn't be surprised if we scrape automatics despite a deduction. How many points will we be deducted? 9, reduced to 6 after arbitration. Who will be our most important player? - Fatawu. So glad he's back and looking fired up, we've missed him. Who will be top scorer? - Kone if we sign him, if not I'm pretty sure Ayew will bag 15+ in this league. What are you most excited about? - A break from the Premier League. As much as we SHOULD be there, I've grown to hate everything it represents. What are you most worried about? - Failure to achieve promotion leading to what little talent is left in the squad (Fatawu, Monga, Nelson etc) being poached, leading to terminal decline. What’s one thing you most want to see this season? - Cifuentes connecting with the fanbase. We were getting there with Enzo, but otherwise Shakey / Ranieri was the last time it happened. Which player is going to surprise us? - In a good way, Luke Thomas. Was growing in confidence at the back end of last season and with a bit of man management could become one of the best fullbacks in the league. In a bad way - if he stays, I reckon Faes will continue to put in brainfarts and stinkers despite everyone saying he's 'good enough for this league'. Which player do you most want out the door? - Faes. Would gladly have him on loan somewhere for the season so his crap attitude doesn't stink up the dressing room. Which player linked with a move are you most desperate to keep? - None. Genuinely not as bothered as others about BEK's likely departure, think we've got good options in his position and the money will be handy. Now if a lower half prem team comes in for Nelson as a squad option, that's when I'll get worried. Will Martí Cifuentes still be the manager this time next year? - Yes. And he should be if there's clear progression in shaping the squad and style, regardless of if we get promoted or not. Miss me with the chop-and-change please.

I look forward to the club-sanctioned mosaics having massive gaps in them when we're sat mid-table and all the fairweathers that brought this about are sat at home sipping Horlicks by January.

This club doesn't deserve the efforts of UFS. Tinpot morons.

Opening day's always been one to throw up weird results before teams get into a rhythm, but wow, that was an absolutely honking advert for the league. Feeling a lot better about our own prospects after that - two teams hyped up as promotion favourites and they were absolute doggo. Saw more boxing than I did football.
-
What a weird ground, the fence around the pitch makes it look like a Bus Station
-
I wonder how many times he has to run himself into a cul-de-sac before Birmingham fans realise he's not the same player they sold to us way back when.
-
At least we're past the 'insight' of Peter Beagrie, man could have fed the 4000 with all those chips on his shoulder.
-
We asked Rudkin to sign a striker He said No, no, no We've got the Dak Jon won't get the sack He won't go, go, go
-
I wish I'd forgotten that Michael Lamey and Moreno played for us but they are both in my 'worst ever' squad if I had to pick 25. They were absolutely garbage defenders, Lamey in particular put in some right stinkers, especially in the game at Norwich that ultimately got Sousa the sack. Despite it turning out ok in the end, that season saw some right donkeys play for us. Bednar has been mentioned a few times, but I also forgot that Conrad Logan was fighting it out with Carl Ikeme for the goalie position before Sven saw sense and brought Weale back in as soon as he was fit. Because both of them couldn't catch a cold... and yet they were still better than Ricardo!

It's one thing to give credit where it's due, but A) we left this until a month after most clubs had started doing business and B) we've now left things so late that clubs will be able to have our pants down knowing we need to make signings - Kone probably being the prime example. A competent DOF would have ensured we were ready to get our managerial target through the door as soon as finances allowed. Which us binning RVN days before the end of the financial period shows wasn't even our plan anyway, after three MONTHS of us performing mental gymnastics to explain him staying on past relegation. I've yet to see evidence that Marti (or whoever our prior targets were) was spoken to in advance to ask who he wanted for the squad. To have only seriously STARTED the managerial search AFTER sacking Ruud, something everyone on planet earth knew was coming, is the latest in a string of incompetencies. Having King around for pre-season has been a handy smokescreen for the lack of action, since we all love him and he's an agreeable face to put on socials to distract those who don't ask questions. The long and short of it is - yes, good work so far trimming the fat, but Cifuentes now faces an uphill battle to get the players he wants in, and certainly has run out of time to bed them in through pre-season. If Kone and Brownhill come in then fair play, but they should have both been here weeks ago.

Watching back the 2010-11 season review and completely forgot about Franck Moussa. That whole season was a fever dream in fairness, I had also forgotten DJ Campbell randomly returning to the fold during Sousa's stint as well.

I'm in Liverpool now mate

Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)

Wouldn't even be averse to him going on loan if any interested parties want to be awkward. At a time when the squad attitude needs a blowtorch taking to it, he stands out as the biggest whopper for me even above the likes of Winks and Soumare. Culture reset needed. I can't deal with watching him throw his hands up and blame those around him when the likes of Preston and Hull bag easy tap-ins because he fell asleep and forgot to do the basics. -

Faes ending up at the fascist club would be an amusing curveball to be honest -
