  1. They have always been absolutely toss at commercials, retail and service. I guess that's due to them operating in a bribe based economy, no need for actual business skill there, hence Top and his chum.
  2. More by luck than judgement, we were headed there, all the stats pointed to that. There was at best 3 games under him that we actually deserved to win. I’m not having that that clown was any good, as he wasn’t.
  3. I think someone with at least half a clue manages not to get us relegated from a division where Hull managed to get promotion.
  4. Dunno didnt work too great with Cifuentes who was probably one of the most useless tossers we have ever had.
  5. It’s funny when people suggest ‘other’ managers, Top and Rudkin have very little knowledge about football managers. They won’t appoint anyone even slightly outside the box. Their view will be we tried a pragmatic manager in Cooper, it didn’t work. They want to get back to one Enzo ball, or something like it.
  6. I’m not sure why you’d choose Fulham over Ipswich tbh if that’s the case. Hopefully they go down. The Premier League does have quite a bit of tin pot in it at the moment.
  7. In fairness though that was with a poor Southampton team in the Premier League. Rangers was too big a job for him. He is probably a better manager than Cifuentes, and if we had him last year I’m not sure we get relegated. That’s about the most positive I can get about him, there are probably worse sideways and backwards options the board will look at, like Cifuentes.
  8. Where is this tosser? I need to reply! Jon Rudkin did well to assemble the team being as he was not Director of Football when most of the title squad was purchased. That was a good head of recruitment Walsh and Pearson
  9. To be honest all of the Goalkeepers seem to have got worse under the so called coaching clowns that Marti Cifuentes brought in, so that might be a blessing. I expect Begovic may end up doing it.
  10. Top and Rudkin don’t want that style, they live in hope of finding another btec pep
  11. I think we had the guy worse than him last year! Marti Cifuentes, pretty much identical no running, no pressing, no shots, unable to defend, pass it across the back until you lose it. He sound just what the board are after to carry on our elite transformation under Rudkin,
  12. Watching us for a few games will soon see that taken out of you honestly I don't actually mind being a bad side with not very good players if that's our level! its just the half ass tippy tippy sideways and backwards performances from players who think they are better than they are. Id rather see a complete carthorse give 100%, ive seen a few over the years!
  13. I mean its catch 22 because with Top and Rudkin making decisions with Mr Yes installed as Technical director, its likely most of the 'coaches' they choose will take us to League 2, like a league 2 version of Cifuentes.
  14. I think Burnley know this division better. In 24 we were always likely to head straight back up, Ipswich has a tremendous amount of luck to stay level with us and Leeds were very good, and went up the year after. I can see West Ham struggling, not sure about Wolves yet, they do have slightly weird owners.
  15. 100% Sure he will walk the league with Burnley next year if he goes there. I don't like the guy but he is probably better than whatever dross Rudkin has lined up for 2nd choice. This guy who was Rudds assistant at Man Utd, we tried the main man, lets try the coach as he a bit foreign and beat us once. Clearly still on Rudkin recruitment logic.
  16. In fairness better the Cifuentes who has never been promoted or in the Premier League and never will be, admittedly a low bar.
  17. 1 is dead but still more effective than Daka or Ayew
  18. We can be sure when we are in the bottom half come December these clowns will fail to act. He will be on a 3 year deal, we will sack him in March and dither to bring in a replacement, finally relegated to League 2.
  19. Problem is we need a good manager/leader setup, structure and culture to get a team going, this is where the club fails. They have absolutely no idea who they want to be manager
  20. Its just a sign of the general malign at this club, it seems everyone in the club is happy with it. Its a leadership competence problem. Sadly there is no sign of it changing or getting any better.
  21. It just seems odd, that we would have so many managers that all decide to play the same way with the same players, to me the only conclusion is that the manager is a yes man for a bigger power. To me we don't really seem to have 'managers' more coaches who do as the club desires. They saw some success with Maresca and are now obsessed with that model. I think they believe that if the club controls the playing style a change of manager will not matter. The problem is the playing style and players are crap.
  22. Not a chance, Rudkin has a cycle. Dither and delay, shit manager, shit players, dither, delay, repeat. He has almost perfected it now.
  23. This, im getting seriously so pissed off with the operation of this club. It is getting to the point where I just give up caring because they clearing treat us with utter contempt and disrespect.
  24. Thing is we did bring in Caranza and pay his wage, which was a complete waste of time. Much the same as the season before we brought in Edouard and paid his wage, there was some money. Just the football operations team waste it because they are so shit. Like the recent window, we bring in a bloke who is unfit, and I guy from Chelsea who added nothing. I honestly have no idea what the club are thinking, unless they were paid by clubs to take these players, we are wasting money that could have been better spent elsewhere, if there were any semblance of competency at this club.
  25. i think him leaving would probably help. Hes clearly toxic. Him going would at least afford us the possibility of treading a different path, we need a clear out and we need to bring in a different profile of player and operate in a different way. The failing football department appears to be a blocker to this. If we keep doing the same things, following the same cycle things will only get worse. We can see now nothing has been learnt about managerial recruitment, we are following the same radio silence. Its pathetic ineptitude.
