That said not paying Eduoard, Caranza, Couliby wages along with other Rudkin gems would also have helped us meet PSR!
-
To be honest the revenue generated from ticket sales in the upper levels is minimal. Obviously it becomes more important for us now. I would rather see clubs being a little more pragmatic, to me its simplistic to suggest higher prices means more revenue. Actually for Leicester now it might be beneficial to bring in more fans at a lower price, which might also drive revenues in other sales such as the club shop etc. I do agree though, a lot of hard nosed businessmen are going to look at our prices and say they have been too low for too long. Certainly during the Premier League years, and Europe they could have charged double and probably would have sold out.
-
Cardiff with BBM and Birmingham with Rodgers side kick did it the tippy tappy way. Id rather us bin it off but if Rudkin remains we will be chasing that.
-
I dont know after his disaster at Rangers, very few are going to take a punt on him. It could be an opportunity for him to rebuild his reputation a bit. He would have done better than Cifuentes to be honest, and in League 1 with the right squad he probably gets us promoted.
-
They do to an extent, supposedly Winks was brought in for him and Vestergaard was extended at his request before he left. Ultimately the club is responsible of course, again its not to blame him specifically but he certainlly played a part in where we are by mainly fooking off when he did, then taking KDH.
-
This is completely true, look at Bournemouth (****ing Bournemouth ffs) excellent manager leaves, they have a new one lined up in days. Succession planning is a thing and a huge problem for us for decades, Jon Rudkin doesn't know what it is. The main issue for us is always the general competence of the idiots in charge!
-
That isn't what I have said. He isn't to blame for it, but he played a part. There are elements of his time here that caused where we are, for example Harry Winks and Vestergaard on big contracts, the obsession with tippy tappy pass from the back crap that then the club decided we needed to obsess over. The fact he was always going to **** off when a big club came knocking, which he did and then left us with the likes of Steve Cooper. He has played a part in where we are. Had we kept Smith imo he takes us up, we stay there and the rest is history.
-
He is a proper defender though, who attacks the ball. We haven't had that in a long time because we have become obsessed with over technical players, who are over coached in what is a relatively simple game. Unfortunately we spent 3 years obsessing over passing it out from the back and having 75% domination of the ball, which is utterly useless if you don't pass it forward, are unable to clear the ball from your own defence and are unable to put the ball into the oppositions net. He's a different kind of player, with a different mentality one we have been missing, largely why several of our managers have side-lined him. He been treated appallingly by the club, he may have been shop windowing himself, but he gave a lot more promise than I have seen from anyone else in that squad for 2 years. Its a mentality thing to want to get to a ball first, notice on the goal he scores Daka stands ball watching, we never ever attack the ball in the oppositions box, or ours for that matter, first time we see that, its no small coincidence it looks a bit better!

To be honest the way football is now, you lose everything about the club if it folds, im not really interested in a club that isnt the club I have shared many great times with, and some bad, suppose it would be like losing a friend, would just have to learn to cope.
-
And the owner of the club thinks the best thing we can do is 'keep going' presumably with the same incompetent ****wits in place who put us here. No, we don't need to 'keep going' we needs an emergency brake, we need to clear out the utter inept shit and begin the rebuild at the latest after the last game to draw a line under it. I would expect for anyone serious about fixing this to hear of the entire senior leadership team being sacked due to gross incompetence over several years.
-
If we got Dean Smith in this situation it might just save us. Id go as far as to say, if we had got him instead of throwing it all at Enzo and tippy tappy we would not be in this mess now, Like Villa we would probably have gone back up and stayed up. Where we are he could be the right man to rebuild the football culture at this club, a culture bound by winning football matches instead of 'style'
-
To be honest id take a beanpole heading stick over the weak, soft as ****, pathetic, tippy tappy bellends we have had in defence for the past 5 years, who cant head, and cant boot a ball out, all they can do is pass it between them and the keeper until they lose it and the opposition score, hence League 1.
-
If he keeps this weird misguided faith in Rudkin because 'he won the league 10 years ago' and has done absolutely **** all but spaff away money since, then no he wont! In reality Rudkin ahs cost the club over a billion quid with his incompetence, possibly more, I don't understand how anyone can remain in position or get promoted given that! Bizarre! Top is an idiot, I wish I could find an idiot billionaire to over promote me!
-
There is quite an easy route for him to get his money back too. He is going to have to bank roll us for a few years. He needs to sack the leadership that is responsible for this mess, get some competent football people in and give them automation to build the structure to fix it. Rudkin needs to be sacked immediately. If he we remains in place, nothing will change. the decline will continue until he runs out of money.

Clap clap back the ladz
-
Rudkin will move him out, they have treated him like utter shit since he’s been here yet his performance when not even fully fit put the other scumbags to shame. He’s not technical enough for Rudkins way, they move him on if they can 100% Thats the type of player we need, a bit of physical presence. Actually attacking balls instead of ball watching, noticing he makes a challenge on our goal Daka stands watching! Sums it up perfectly!

Macquarie Loan for Parachute Payments Rolled Over
Foxin_Mad replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
They are going to have to put money in if they want any hope of getting any back. The problem is you could do it sustainably if you have the correct people in place. The rules in this division mean that in the first year the large wages signed before last year on a 3 year or more deal don’t count on scmp. Turnover, we can spend 60% of on playing budget and an owner can invest and spend 60% of an investment on playing budget. Unlimited amounts can be spent on infrastructure which I assume is the train ground etc. With the right people running it and a good manager, starting literally next week or early June at the latest it’s doable but it requires people with a brain cell and self awareness at the top. -
How the **** did we get relegated from a division where that utter dogshit is second, beyond belief
-
He can still be loyal if he wants move him to chief horse operative or something, just keep him away from our damn football club.
-
When I was walking back up towards Welford road, I saw a big group of students, with chaperones walking them back up to the halls of residence, some of them were talking to them in a different language, they all had clappers and LCFC Merch.
-
Of course its different, the point remains though if he feels unsafe and his family are unsafe, then he needs to consider things.
-
How much effort have the 'lads' put in this season? 20 Minutes when it was too late? I swear if Harry Winks got the club badge and shat on it in the centre circle, some of the KPFC fans would says we should 'back im, good ol winkseh'
-
In midweek they seemed to give a lot of tickets to what appeared to be overseas students and the University. Why instead of ripping off the loyal fans and doing stupid stuff like this do they not reduce ticket prices, probably including revenue from other sources, not to mention a bit of goodwill that would generate. Instead its screw the loyal fans and give it away.
-
This, I genuinely don't think they have it in them. If they did they would have performed for more than 20 minutes all season. They are lazy and don't want to be here, they think they are batter than they are. Im sure they will probably move elsewhere and some of them may do ok in teams with a better culture.
-
If UFS aren't there there will literally be no atmosphere with all the back the lads being there, I am expecting big things from them, big things.
