You are spot on. To compare the club then with the club now is ridiculous. Then it was the culmination of 8 years of being a floating turd that didn't flush with bad managers and poor players. This club is run by inept imbeciles from top to bottom. we have sold players for 80m, 50m etc yet still manage to operate at an astounding loss despite having Premier League income, getting horrific loans from a glorified payday loan company, we have one of the highest wage bills in the division yet I can count the number of decent players we have on 1 hand, we scraped by PSR. Its gross incompetence of the highest order, how these people are in position still is beyond me. There is no confidence any of these clowns can make a good decision on a manager. In any other business they'd be out on their ear for such ineptitude. We are now years behind the likes of Brentford, Brighton and Bournemouth (****ing tin pot Bournemouth!! ffs) its not about us having less money, its about being run in a competent sustainable structured way, we aren't, these lot aren't capable and need to go immediately. I will not happy clap this lot, I will not thank Top or worship King Power they can **** off, by hanging around they are destroying any legacy they might have had. We need a proper business man to come in and tighten the purse strings and steady the ship as this club is insolvent in reality. Top has literally done nothing different to his dad, first few years it worked with Rodgers then it went tits up. The further we got from Pearson's model, the worse the club has got, until now. Like any team now they will need to do a lot of business but the promoted teams this year will be weaker than the promoted teams last year. Also Farke will be a massive problem for them as he is a worse manager than Russell Martin. I think they will blow promotion again anyway, we will play them next year.

I think its reasonable to expect the club in a city of this size to compete with the likes of Bournemouth, Fulham, Brighton, Brentford who are all well structured sustainable and well run. We just move from calamity to calamity, if people think its entitled not to want that then whatever. In fact I don't even really mind us being crap, its just the way we got there by ineptitude and that the inept are still there making decisions.
