The 2nd city, over Leicester. They didn't exactly do great with the Rooney debacle. I'm sceptical of American owners, they are not generally in business to not make money, they wont spend on anythingthey dont need to. Football is not hugely profitable for most.

This is the issue some of our fan base think a club like Leicester is remotely attractive to buy, it's not in the London/South for starters. We far more likely to get another dodgy overseas money launderer like the Reading bloke. It's also requires there to be some operations staff at the clubs finance department being competent enough to do the required due diligence on the takeover, it's far from a certain it wouldn't get a whole lot worse and we are being run by a bankrupt overseas money launderer!
-
Maybe as a protest we should all go back to our SUV 15 minutes before the game ends...oh wait!
-
I think Cooper was very lucky, we had a fairly easy run if games needed to take points from Ipswich etc. Ruuds games have been mainly top 6 but I agree the issues stem from football operations leadership at the club, which is an utter failure.
-
Turning on the team isn't gonna help really. The Rudkin chant about 10 people sang, everyone else looks at you gone out, ****ing weird. That one man is responsible along with Rodgers for this mess. He's a ****.
-
He's shit, a lazy **** to boot. I'd drop him. Don't care where.
-
Kasey was the least of our problems today. Mavididi was a ****ing lazy disgrace. Jogging around ****. The least I expect from these shit heads is to run for 90 minutes. If tge are genuinely not good enough fine but to me they aren't giving it their all. Which disgusts me about modern football.

It would be a shambles under Vichai, it's complete rubbish to think otherwise.
-
It makes me laugh people Praise Vichai, King Power have been shit since day one. Remember Sousa? I'm sorry but glorifying him because he's no longer here is ridiculous, Top is carrying on his legacy. They don't know how to run a business or a football club never have. They got lucky riding on the back of Pearsons planning. We had a good few years that's it now, back to the Championship probably forever. No owner is taking on a nothing club in the East Midlands let's face it.

But really as a supporter or football is there any point supporting a tin pot club to exist as fodder in the middle of the Premier League. As a spectacle is shit, and to me exactly why football is dying and will continue to die why the protect the greedy six and cartels with batshit rules that stifle any attempt a speculate to accumulate. To be honest as a rich person outside the greedy six right now there is no real point investing in football.
-
Neither will win anything. Brighton will go on being Red Cartel compliant, or maybe they might make an error and end up in a relegation battle, its literally one bad decision from going down. Although the disparity between divisions is making that less likely. I think my main issue is that we are unlikely as Leicester City to get better owners, we are not particularly desirable as a club, no one is interested in us, even less so in making us any kind of success. For a club like Leicester City you need to put in quite a lot and be prepared not to get much back. I don't see a queue of people waiting to do that.

None of these clubs has ever or will ever win the Premier League or FA Cup though. There's well run mediocracy and there is winning, id take winning any day. Honestly is there any point being a team like Bournemouth? Whats to look forward to? mid tableness. Also there was NO difference between Vichai and Top King Power have always been a bit loopy since day one, I think the fact that Vichai died has rose tinted his running of the club, we were largely lucky and based on Pearson's structure and squad building started in 2009. The same management team exists now the Vichai put in place, theres little evidence much would have been done differently. They took a risk, were rewarded with the league title and FA Cup, thought they could get more, they gambled and lost. A bad manager, poor recruitment and failure to act has been our downfall. Brighton, Villa and co are Red Cartel and Greedy Six compliant, doing as they are told, existing in mediocracy for eternity, **** that.
-
I think Brighton and Brentford have not won a league or FA Cup though, well run maybe but not the moments we've had, football is about winning trophies at the end of the day, the aim of the game should not be being well run and mid table, that's very much the greedy six saying 'know your place'. We gambled big on Rodgers, it failed but we are essentially being punished for trying to compete, we've made errors yes but this very much ensures there will be no more Leicester city's. Also we potentially missed out 2 times on Champions League places because the greedy 6 cheated (Chelsea) or got special allowances (Man Utd), then there's Man City. The whole thing is a farce, I'm fast losing the love for football which is a shame, it's a big part of my life but the joy is being tucked out of it VAR, PSR etc. Maybe it's time yo accept we've won things I never thought I'd see us win! It's a shame as I'd love more Euro tours! Also the gap between Championship and Premier League is growing ever bigger, it's highly likely the promoted 3 go down again. Fair Play, Sporting Merit seem to be a thing of the past, it's about balance sheets.
-
Its not about running a football club its about learning to be as corrupt as **** like the greedy six. Build a hotel to sell, or sell the womens team or some cartel protection bullshit. The rules are wank, we may have issues but these rules will destroy football.
-
How would you feel if Forest won the league and could it happen?

Same, I feel all clubs need to unite against the corrupt greedy 6 -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Foxin_Mad replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'd say Notts is pretty much like any UK city, 70s ugly, run down, depressing and full of smack heads. I hate the place and most others tbh. It might be 'better' but it's a lowish bar! -
Is the compensation enough though given the values of money in the game now? Stuff like FFP, home grown talents etc Also there should be limits on the players big clubs can 'hoover' up. Its seems they take anyone one with any ounce of talent. Why should clubs invest millions in facilities and development only for the big boys to come along and nick them.
-
Another cracker from the Director of Football who seems to have lost his head up his own arse...useless ****
-
I still think hed actually be quite a decent midfielder, hes just a shit defender
-
If they are going to insist on bullshit like PSR, they absolutely need to ensure clubs get a fair value for their academy products else the red cartel/greedy six can just cherry pick and squad load all the best players from a young age.
-
Cooper was ****ing shit, lets not have any clouded judgement here. Ive absolutely no idea what his game plan or tactics were. At least Rudd has a vision, it may not work, but its a vision, a philosophy. We are lucky we have as many points as we do, we haven't really deserved any of them. We were lucky to beat Bournemouth and the sending off helped us beat Southampton with an Abdul masterclass after looking absolute crap in the first half. We are shit because the club and football operation is being run by a complete and utter imbecile. We didn't sign enough good players. Whoever brought in some of our signings needs to be got rid of quick.
-
I assume the same would be true of a Saudi or Qatari prince, A Chinese business owner, an odious Private equity yank! Even a Thai duty free empire?! There aren't many decent legit groups owning football clubs sadly, particularly! Even the sponsors are vile, football is rapidly becoming vile.
-
The problem still remains in a way, clubs like Leicester have to sell their best players and try and compete on wages else the greedy six and red cartel just suck up any available talent from Europe and shove them in their squad. The fundamentals of football are broken. Yes we have been run badly, yes we have take silly risks. I am not sure that any club that trys to compete is sustainable long term, I guess Brentford and Bournemouth will tell. You are always a couple of bad decisions away from complete collapse. The game is broken, PSR will make it worse and less competitive. It needs to end. Want to make the game fair stop the big clubs hoard every half talented player and youngster, make then PAY fair value. Of course they wont upset the cartel.

Explains why he didnt come here then. Lord Rudkin has full control.
