Enzo, has always said Cannon was a signing for the long term. We might not of seen the best of him this year, but if we remain in the championship, he will definitely get a decent amount of game time and hopefully he will be able to show us what he’s capable of.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Lad1966 replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Surely, this is dependent on which league we are in. If we remain in the championship, yes KDH will need to be sold. I am not so sure , if that the case if we get promoted? -
In the 3 matches we lost recently, only the QPR game, where we didn’t look like scoring, even yesterday, in the 1st 30 min, we created some decent chances, so I don’t like other teams have found us out. I think we’ve been very wasteful, which gave our opponents confidence and they’ve gone on to punish us. Last night, once we took the lead, we became over protective of our lead, and as a result we because too passive. We will need to be more aggressive against Hull. I highly doubt this is coming from Enzo, but rather the players not taking risks they were taking earlier in the season.

What I would say, Ipswich are playing without the pressure of the 3 relegated teams, hence they have the freedom to play in the why that they do. I think with us, it’s not necessarily the tactics, but the pressure doesn’t allow us to play these tactics in the way Enzo wants, also it’s obvious that our engine room is tried, injuries has meant that players like KDH and Winks have played more then they needed to and as a result we’ve lacked fluency in our passing. I am hoping we can get a positive result on Saturday and use the 3 week break from the league to get some fluency back🏆🏆🏆

Today’s performance was a result of previous 3 losses. It was just about the result today, if we lost tonight, our chances of automatic promotion seriously diminished, the 3points tonight give us some breathing space to recharge our promotion charge. -

Happy for the win. We needed it and sometimes it’s what give the players the confidence they need. Another positive is Niddi got some vital minutes under his belt and a clean sheet. Doyle gave us better balance in the left and, finally we get vesty back, which will help with distribution from the back. COYB🏆🏆🏆 -
It’s a difficult one, a lot of these are when Ipswich are chasing the game, looking for an equaliser or draw, which is something we don’t do, and to fair until recently we’ve not been in that position too often. I also feel with Ipswich, that there is less expectations from their own fans, which allows them to play more freely in these situations, which also comes from the manager

I don’t think all of the above would leave. Selling KDH, Wout and Daka would allow us to keep winks and maybe buy Fatawu, if they want to stay. There are also 7/8 players who will be free to leave. That would be huge saving in wages. We will not be able to go out totally refresh the squad, but this could create opportunities for the likes of braybrook and alves. Even if we get promoted, which we all hope they will, we will still be limited on what we can spend, but in a more harsher environment of the PL.

Sunderland (A) - Tuesday 5th March - 7.45pm

This match will tell us, whether we are up for the fight or not. Win this and this will be big boost for us mentally and hopefully give us confidence going forward. I am not thinking about if the worse happens, either way I will be behind the team, because whatever the result, there still 10 games to go and a lot could still happen! -
As a supporter I will always be hoping for best for LCFC. After this weekend result it’s not looking good, but, hey we are still top, maybe not for too long, but if we get automatic promotion (not to concerned above winning the league), this would make that feeling sweeter, especially after the last few weeks. It going to horrible and stomach churning over the until seasons over. Keep the faith 🏆🏆🏆

We will come up next year🏆🏆🏆

That’s good enough. After recent results even that in jeopardy! I would have taken 2nd place at the start of the season, I would definitely take it now🙏🏽
-
I know it’s easier said then done, but if we win our next 2 games, we should be in one of the promotion places going into the international break. That’s the mentality we need to go into these matches. Maybe that’s the clarity we need to refocus for both the players and Enzo

Are we bottlers and do we have a weak mentality?
Lad1966 replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think our recent form is more about the imbalance in our squad, made worse by our injuries in an area where we are weakest. The timing of this is make it’s worse☹️ -
We lost our In predictably since Niddi injury. He was the one making late runs into the box, which is what you need if we are only playing one striker. I also think Doyle needs to play. Defensively he’s not as good as JJ, but his passing range is something that might open up a defensive setup.
-
This is not good for my mental health! I feel so shit after any defeat, but our recent defeat has got me fearing the worst. It would be more acceptable if we weren’t spunking up should a large advantage. God I am hating this right now!!!!!!😡
-
Yes, that’s true. Not sure why Winks wasn’t captain today!
-
He was lorded on Tuesday and today it’s all his fault. There needs to be some balance on here. The whole team were poor today.
-
This one will hurt the players confidence. when we lost the previous 2 games, we were still creating, and the hope was that we would turn it around, but today we were poor. Enzo I want you to succeed, but you need to turn this around fu*king quickly now.☹️
-
I am getting well worried now. I don’t know where it’s gone wrong!
-
Massive half,now. COYB🏆🏆🏆

Totally agree, this was, because we were able to replace players who were equal, if not better than the players coming off. We did not have that in the Leeds game, when players got tried
