Massive week for us. 2 winnable teams but 2 who are fighting for survival. Win them both and things look very nice. I doubt we'll make it easy!

He plays a very demanding and complex role in fairness to him. I don't feel hugely confident with him in the side but Enzo does seem to expect him to play about 7 different roles/positions simultaneously

I'm sure it's been mentioned in here somewhere, but the 12 Days of Christine (Inside Number 9) might be the best 30 mins of TV I've ever seen. I watched it a few months ago (about 7 years late to it!) and I wept like a baby. I still think about it everyday. It is a masterpiece, and also painfully relatable.

Agreed. Rodgers started well and the club gave him the keys, really. Mad to think he was close to joining arsenal. The problem (aside from his huge ego and stale tactics and lack of leadership) was that he had no interest or understanding in club finances. Undoubtedly why he decided to throw the towel in 18 months ago and play for a pay off. If we'd have been stronger I guess he'd have gone earlier and we'd probably be OK, but he'd earned time, unfortunately.

They've been responsible for the most part. They were just too loyal towards a couple of absolute ****wads. It's so rare for a manager to actively put himself first to the detriment of the club he leads. We all thought Rodgers was football's David Brent, but not someone actually prepared to cripple a club for his own financial benefit.

No one wants us to lose. Some people moan when we do lose. It's annoying but exactly what every other club's fans do on their forums. It's what they're here for surely? What's become equally as annoying is the people who come on here to moan about the moaners. I actually think they find more gratification in us losing so they can jump in on those who are just angry/upset we've lost. History suggests we are on the brink of the classic disaster that seems to happen every few years here. People are pessimistic and will choose to air their fears on a forum. Fingers crossed every thing goes perfectly from today and no one ever feels the need to express negative thoughts on here. But it's unlikely x

Back from a long walk lads. Apologies for the pessimism pre match. How did we get on? Another comfortable win? Crusing the last third of the season like the previous few? Or are we actually allowed to be real now?

Well we're out of form, have a history of bottling big leads recently and our best player, with a stinking injury record, is now out. I'd say most city fans over the age of about 20 would be pessimistic right now!

Good indicator of someone's lack of footballing intelligence if you don't rate Daka. Poor finish Friday night but played well, as he has done for the most part this season. The abuse he's been getting on social media is embarrassing.

I thought we were brilliant last night, for 80 mins anyway. The set up was perfect but subs were poor. Vardy and Albrighton made so much more sense. The ref was a disgrace but it's Craig Pawson FFS. I was so annoyed last night, especially when I realised at full time that it was the world cup final. Next few games are huge.

Damn it. Next month of fixtures looks a lot tougher for us than the others.
