We were 5th on that squad value table 24 months ago. You'd do well to decimate a club on purpose as badly as the owners have done recently.

I suspect the footballing world (including the donkeys running our own club) have realised we'll be shopping in the bargain bin this summer. No one wants to join a club destined for relegation before a ball's been kicked. We just need to build a squad of anyone willing to get humiliated on a weekly basis.

We are such a poorly run club! How is a keeper of this ability going to end up leaving for about £1 mill?! We seem unable to look beyond 12 months in advance at Leicester, as seen on so many occasions in recent years.

There's not a club in the land that would touch him. The wages just add to the absolute insanity of it all.

Reminds me of that Bassey lad at Fulham. He's gone for big bucks so we may be onto something. Granted Bassey is left footed but players like that are very rare so we're unlikely to find a player like that!!!!!!!!! !!!

This club, and this league, are becoming more of a joke by the day. Wank kit, wank sponsor, wank competition. Surely if we went back and did a Fox Leisure type thing, we'd sell twice as many shirts and make about 5 times as much money, which is apparently what football is now exclusively about.

Doesn't sound like he's anywhere near first team material yet? Great to be investing in youth but I'm a tad more worried about having to watch a midfield of Hamza, Winks and Braybrooke in the prem.

Some big clubs involved so highly unlikely anything will be done. Would be typical PL to let it slide for a window of time, then close the loophole before others take advantage.

If you imagine we never got promoted last season then this feels like a decent appointment. Bring on the promotion train!

I genuinely don't think the owners know anything about football. Which would be OK if they knew about running a business/football club. Sadly I'm not sure of that either these days
