  1. As I said earlier, we have so many crap players
  2. It's unbelievable how many crap players we have
  3. We are so bad, no attacking ideas at all.I dread to think what Villa will do to us on Saturday
  4. Brilliant
  5. We used to get big crowds in the 70's when Illy was captain. 40 over Sunday league games used to be sold out, me & my mates used to go to loads of the away games too, We also got big crowds for midweek Gillette Cup & B&H matches. The thing was then that you knew the structure of the season - Sundays was 40 overs, starting at 2pm. B&H cup group stage, played early season. Gillette Cup played on Wednesdays at perhaps 2 weekly intervals. The rrest of the time would be 16 or so CC games Nowadays the calender is all over the place which doesn't help, but there is no doubt that not having cricket on free to air tv has had a massive impact
  6. Harrogate away please as it's the only ground I've not been to. Not been to Barrow since the mid sixties, so that will be a decent consolation
  7. Having been to Lens & seeing a side devoid of passion, skill, falling out among themselves, leading to one of the worse performances I've ever seen from a Premier League team, it's very hard to see anything but an easy away win. I have a free £10 Skybet & at the moment I'm thinking of putting it on a 5-0 Spurs win
  8. Like an absolute disorganised rabble. I can't think of one decent bit of passing that we put together Having said that I did leave after 70minutes as couldn't stand any more. The performance & lack of ability would have been out of place in the Senior league
  9. Fabulous stadium is Lens & their fans were terrific. What I witnessed this afternoon was one team full of pace, passion, commitment & skill The other team were slow, disorganised, passionless & constantly arguing among themselves. I doubt we will get 10 points all season, in fact I can't see us scoring 10 goals The thought of that starting 11 taking on Spurs is the stuff of nightmares
  10. After going to Shrewsbury & Chesterfield, I'll not bother. We were desperate in both games & unless we get some quality in attacking departments I see little hope of out surviving
  11. I think I read somewhere that they returned early this week, although none of them were at Shrewsbury
  12. I'm sure there will, but I will be at Shrewsbury & am disappoinred not to be able to see our U21's, as I'm sure many others will be
  13. Well we've sold out 1600 tickets for Shrewsbury so I think that answers your question
  14. Of course I do, but the attendance will be badly affected due to the clash. I'm sure Barwell will be disappointed at badly needed revenue being lost
  15. Why did they have to arrange this on the same night as 1600 of us will be at Shrewsbury
  16. I'm on Finau. Couldn't resist Fitzpatrick @ 66/1, I know he's had a poor season but had a couple of good rounds last weekend. Also a 200/1 longshot, Harris English
  17. If we have Mads playing goal kicks along the 6 yard line to Vesty, then him playing it square to Faes, we'll get slaughtered. Teams in the Prem press so fast we'll be giving away goals galore.
  18. Really poor I'm afraid. Our 2 spinners superb, but the rest of the bowling was absolute rubbish. They should never have got 184
  19. Nor me. He always used to be a key member of the 1 day set up. Baffling
  20. I know there are not many left now, but you would deny anyone who fought in WW2, to earn you your freedom to post such rubbish, a vote. You should be ashamed
  21. Are you for real or just posting idiotic things on purpose
  22. I'd much sooner watch Leicestershire than another borefest from Southgate & his bunch of morons
  23. Usually live daily coverage on Eurosport & highlights in the evening
  24. A report in the Coalville Times says that a councillor at a recent meeting requested that NWLDC give an award to Glyn Rennocks for all his work in putting Coalville on the map. Perhaps said councillor does not realise that Rennocks, by his impulsive action in pulling the team out of step 3, has now taken Coalville pretty well off the mat completely.
