  1. Depends. If if we stay up merit awards alone are a few mill per position. just think if we will breach regardless I would rather keep him. Assuming we couldn’t repurpose the funds and upgrade a couple of positions
  2. I am not surprised if KDH doesn't want to leave us (perhaps unless a Top 6 side were interested) but, if the Club was to accept an offer then he has a decision to make. Obviously we don't know how deep in the sh*t we are, but could it be if we don't sell we can't afford to the bring in Fatawu? The main thing for me is DO NOT sell him if whatever happens we will still breach the PSR rules.
  3. Think you are correct - Two at one time.
  4. Don’t expect the Club will cough up fees upwards of 10m on players with limited or no resale value. At least it shouldn’t, given the financial mess we are in.
  5. Maybe just speculation but sale of kdh I thought was pretty much locked in to help us bank 20m ish before end of June.
  6. Where is the most value for incomings Do we take a punt / look at some of the talent from Europa League’s less fashionable leagues / Clubs, such as Preciado from Sparta Prague or try and pick up the likes of Jordan James from Brum? You hope Enzo has already identified who he wants and it is just a question of how much money for fees and wages he has to play with. Plus a loan deal from Man City.
  7. @Ric Flair (assuming there is no embargo) how many positions do you think realistically we are looking for? And am I right we can only have two players on loan at one time? maybe 1 x left footed CB 1 x CM (KDH) replacement confirm Fatawu Sensi cover for Winks cover for Ricky P 1 x striker (assuming we sell Daka) Will be interesting to see if Enzo wants to retain likes of Vestergaard and Ndidi or bring in his own players.
  8. Has any spade work been done yet? What’s the earliest the additional seating would be available (min 12-18 mths)?
  9. Realistically there is no one else in contract who will generate the 25-30m rumoured for KDH. You would probably need to sell 2/3 of Mads, Ben Nelson and someone else to generate equivalent profits.
  10. If Enzo stays, and wants him, then I expect we will take him but, with there being a good chance Wilf leaves, maybe KDH, bringing in a box to box physical midfielder is more of a priority IMO .
  11. Interesting challenge lies ahead. Will the Club look to rebalance the squad this summer to get ahead of further potential penalties from the EPL / EPL by selling KDH, maybe likes of Mads, Nelson banking the profits and replace the likes of Wilf with younger talent on lower wages or roll the dice and try and bring in enough established talent that would deliver lower/mid-table before whatever points deduction is applied.
  12. I thought minus nine was the standard for administration so, even with the aggravation of our threatening legal action, I can’t see the penalty being greater than this. however, I see the IC decision, then guaranteed appeal creating uncertainty around the final outcome and dragging things out beyond the beginning of the season.
  13. If he stays then for me the question is 1. can we bring in the sort players he would ideally want, with the technical attributes, to make his system work 2. if not, can he adapt his system and set us up more pragmatically to be competitive next season. I don’t mean competing for Europe but, doing enough to mean relegation is not a real concern. I am not convinced we will be able to give him the funds he would want / need and, if Balaguè is to be believed, there seems tensions working with Rudders so I can see him moving on. It would be interesting to see if he can adapt / find different approaches to win than he has shown this season but, I am somewhat sceptical that he has or wants to move much from his PLAN A.
  14. Give him his dues he played well today.
  15. This club will be death of me. Stressed much.

    Daka

Vardy’s goal per min ratio still solid, but we shouldn’t be relying on a 37 year old to lead our attack. Vards should only be an impact player at this stage. As others have said Daka should have been rested long before now and Cannon brought in for a run.
  17. Enzo likely won’t change Faes, but not only has he been a liability he deflects blame to others which won’t help confidence. We need leadership now more than ever.
  18. As important as playing at home will be Enzo recognising he needs to rotate Daka (Cannon) and hopefully Faes (Coady). Also he can’t wait until 70 mins plus to change things up if we are struggling.
  19. It is very telling when Jordan, who provides a lot of balanced comment, is so angry 🙌🙌
  20. Listening now and a joy to behold. @Ric Flair on top form - telling it how it is 🙌🙌
  21. Too much on his plate and I doubt he has the vision, hunger to deliver that. Sadly.
  22. Correct. Can only result in a closed shop, with usual suspects buying the best players to maintain the best squads and the other 14 trying to punch above their weight. Not only does this prevent another 2015/16, it works to make it more unlikely that the likes of Wolves, Villa, Brighton and ourselves can taste European competition. Just look at Chelsea, spent a small fortune and get around PSR by a related group company buying a property asset (hotel property) at an inflated value (set by themselves).
  23. Shouldn’t let it get to me but I am fewmin.
  24. We haven’t shown we have the mentality to grind out results. We need wins but even draws seem to be a massive challenge.
