Agent talk. Doubt Sevilla could afford the compensation fee.
-
Hopefully they want to take Iversen on a permanent deal then.
-
With Enzo’s power being at its peak do you think he pushes for 4-5 priority targets (not necessarily big fee + big wage) or numbers? I don’t think we will go big on spending so he goes for the former and hopes likes of Hamza / Cannon / Daka contribute when called upon.
-
Think Owynn recently said the EFL had confirmed this date.
-
I picked up on that. The issue with him playing the inverted centre back role that moves into midfield would be his limited passing range (compared to the likes of Vestergaard).
-
Maybe if Kel and Daka goes he will get more game time but, I suspect Enzo will bring in another striker. Wouldn’t be surprised if we were willing to sell.

Less giant, more media darlings.
-
A lot to admire in Enzo. I think he has a ruthless, stubborn character who will push the Club but whether we can provide him with the profile of player he needs, in sufficient numbers, is to be seen.

Random / Semi Unheard of Players you’ve spotted that we should look at

Thought we would have tapped into this market much more of the years. -
it will be the correct decision if he is pushed sideways / out, tho as with BR, we should be careful giving too much power to Enzo.
-
Seems a good chance Sensi will come. On Reus - not sure he has the legs for Enzo's system and to accommodate him would mean changing things up - would be an amazing addition for sure.
-
if we are shopping in the youth / emerging European markets to keep wage costs low then I would hope there is space in the squad for a few more experienced players whose career is perhaps on the way down but have been there and done it.

After the Lord Mayor’s show. Time to enjoy the celebrations then hard work starts 🙌🙌

Let it be true 🙌🙌

If you accept Balague is speaking on behalf of Enzo, then the Club and he appear miles apart in their thinking. Pretty clear Enzo thinks a new sporting director is needed but I don’t see Top binning Rudders.
-
I see Guillem Balague is talking about Enzo’s future……..again. Getting a bit tired of him tbf. Wonder if Top is listening tho….🤔
-
Agreed. Though I don't expect the Board would be that happy that he has done that and it doesn't seem likely that Top is willing to make any changes.
-
It's an interesting one. When Enzo talks of the Club keeping information from him is that Top, Whelan and / or Rudders. Balague has made it pretty clear that Enzo isn't impressed by some of those in charge - is this an opportunity to effect change or just get Top to release the purse strings.
-
Interesting decision by Enzo to be so open in the presser, in particular the Club not mentioning potential FFP issues before the January window. Obviously feels he is in a strong position and signposting that he needs to get answers puts pressure on the Club.
-
Re FBS, is that the best we can do? No, really?
-
Awful kit. 3rd kit especially.
-
I think if you look at his recent injury / appearance record (3 appearances in season 23/24, 28 the season before) you can’t help but have doubts but rumour has it Enzo wants him so chances are it gets done. Agree tho if there are players with similar technical attributes, maybe younger tho with not as great a CV, then I would prefer we passed on Sensi.

Best case is a fine like when we were promoted before (2013-14)as KP can cover that, but you get the sense the EFL really wants to throw the book at us and may impose a deferred points penalty hoping we get relegated next season. Not disputing the point on rights naming not being allowed to be booked if before 30-June, but it would seem strange that a player sale could count and not another asset sale. You would hope the higher ups have a plan …..

I doubt Rudders is going anywhere. Sadly. he appeared very cosy with Top during the celebrations
