  1. No one of note is coming to us in our situation- unless Top throws a bucket of cash at someone and even then interest would be limited. Kingy is in an awful position, wants the best for the Club but lacks the experience and motivational power of an O’Neil to drive performances from the pits of where we are. I fear Top and co will ruin him as they have our Club.
  2. Exactly this. He’s like a scandal prone politician gripping on to his job for dear life whilst waiting for a tap on his shoulder to say mate you need to go. Would relegation and the humiliation of that move him, probably not, but he will never win around the majority of fans. He is in denial. Top I am afraid is even more in denial and cannot read the room. If you like rudders, superb, find him a different job away from the football operation, and get someone in with the cv and competence. Obviously not happening, won’t happen and why top himself is not suited to oversee the club’s future. we are not rock bottom yet but we are fast approaching it.
  3. Neither Top or Rudders has a clue what they should do - stick or twist - which has been the problem for ages and so we drift. With the feeble mentality amongst the players and lack of any plan from the manager we are heading for the cliff edge. Will take a monumental change of attitude and form from here - can Kingy transform this lot and bring a new energy I am not sure - massive ask but who else are we realistically likely to get now.
  4. on the coaching staff but who knows what his responsibilities are. He did okay preparing the team during pre-season but it would be a big ask for him (and his career) to take over and try and save us.......but with PSR issues maybe he would be the most likely (only) replacement option.
  5. Will be surprised if the lad starts next season with us........and you could not blame him if he moves on.
  6. And would Kingy want to take this on at this stage of his career? With probably no cash to spend in January.......concerning times for us.
  7. Probably not. He probably feels he can't say he isn't interested because of his Dad, but appearances point to him not being interested. In everyone's interest for him to sell up before things get worse.
  8. players spineless and manager clueless. We are a train wreck.
  9. Whether this defeat is the tipping point for Top to put Marti out of his misery I am not sure and regardless, I have no confidence they will bring in the right manager. Probably allow him to drift for a few more games with Kingy thrown into the fire if results continue to slide.
  10. Put him out of his misery
  11. Capitulation. when you think we can’t get worse
  12. Also worth considering if we sack Marti if the Club has any budget to pay compo for a new gaffer? If not, which you might suspect, is the hope Kingy will be our saviour or that we go for someone like Gary O’Neil or Brussell?
  13. Trouble is, even if Marti goes, the same spineless players and clueless DofF and owner remain. Best case seems that we scrape over the line, retain our Championship status, get rid of the players who want out and build up from there - probably with another new gaffer. But any (eventual) success will likely be inspite of the Board, not because of it.
  14. Would say get rid, but the board and players are all as culpable. Buck stops with the manger but who can turn this bombscare around?
  15. How much further can the club decline?
  16. Kinell a loan. A fookin loan with an option?
  17. Haha. Another 🐍 - sell for a reasonable fee, move on. Onwards
  18. We are desperate for a striker obviously but, sell Bilal and we will need another 10 (perhaps Stengs) but midfield and LB are also key / as important gaps to fill. Agree hopefully 3/4 in before the window closes.
  19. Good deal. Good luck to JJ. £50m in + wage savings - surely, surely this provides the flexibility to bring in a couple of first team players.
  20. Willing to give Rudders some credit for getting decent fees for a couple of players in the last year of their contract. 👍 However, there is plenty on the debit side of the ledger …..and a large part of why all these sales are necessary is down to him and so, he has a fair way to go to balance things up. A good start would be backing Marti with a striker and a new 6.
  21. With Bilal out that would be best part of 70m brought in,with Faes and Vestergaard still lurking at Seagrave with no interest and no incomings…….crikey
  22. Maybe now we can spend a few bob……crikey let’s hope for 1 or 2
  23. 12m decent business, but will the last player out turn off the lights.
  24. 12m good business but, will the last player out turn off the lights.
  25. Aggregate 55-60m with the sale of Bilal and I now suspect any incomings will be limited to 1/2 loan deals. The sale of Mads was expected, Bilal less so - but we have only really moved on Coady from the bombsquad. The number of sales with no outfield incomings implies fairly big PSR issues that we have had to address - worse than we suspected. I think many of the fans are coming around to realise promotion now, this season, will be a very remote possibility.
