  1. We need to hope we can sell KDH promote likes of Braybrooke and finish anywhere above 17th.
  2. Isn’t this just a technicality - the EFL had no right under its P&S rules to ask for a business plan this season but, we will be tested when we file our annual financial statements and if we fail they will still nail us?
  3. Big test for Enzo now, hopefully he gets into the players, creates a siege mentality and we bounce back. Nothing matters beyond the results. Next game massive.
  4. Hopefully a kick up the backside at half time gets us back on track. Vards for the winner. keep the faith
  5. It is curious as you would think he is the sort of technical player Enzo prefers.
  6. Great episode. really interesting comments I thought about how the club progresses - not just in terms of players but structure.
  7. It is an interesting decision. I can see us letting Coady go in the Summer, giving the lad some game time and he could really kick on.
  8. Do you see him playing at least 15-20 games with us next year or going on a season loan to a championship side?
  9. The thing is he shares in credit when a signing works but, invariably when it doesn’t it sits mostly with him because he controls the purse strings. Maybe unfair but the perception is he is not a great negotiator. we overpay to get players to sign and he can’t oversee a sale when we decide we need to move players on. He appears bullet proof so we need to hope he has a good summer. He needs to, as he should be very busy.
  10. The Sensi deal was embarrassing but I think the bigger concern is perhaps our ability in the Summer to prepare properly for a season in the Premier. We have struggled to sell the fringe players we don't want, we have a number out of contract who need replacing and we don't seem to have a lot of elbow room to manoeuvre with FFP. Rudders, Glover and Co will need to earn their salaries this Summer, wheel and deal, find a few gems and give Enzo a squad he wants. But this month doesn't fill you with confidence. Anyway time to focus on the here and now to winning promotion.
  11. Never mind Rudders the summer window ain’t so far away…..
  12. Would be typical citeh….believe it when you see it. it’s the hope that kills you
  13. I don’t think they will sell KDH ….unless we have a couple lined up ready to go. Don’t see that tbf
  14. No surprise Enzo would like 1 or 2 in. Suspect Sensi will be the only business we do tho.
  15. 100% agreed. was more I could understand the sale if, and it’s a big if, Enzo wanted to strengthen a few areas and we needed to free up funds. obviously our recruitment record makes that very unlikely even if we had the cash to burn.
  16. I could get my head around the club selling KDH if Enzo had identified 2/3 specific players who would improve the 11 and push us on and the sale would release necessary funds. The club leaving it this late in the window it doesn’t appear this is the case. More a money grab unfortunately.
  17. Pretty sure the amortisation period gets extended when the contract is.
  18. Bad day at the office. We go again, we bounce back.
  19. Think he is in his last six months - agree it’s a thanks and goodbye from me
  20. Now he’s apparently fit again expecting to see the usual flirting from Torino.
  21. Early days but good signs 🙌🙌
  22. hopefully our eights should have enough today. great chance for Cannon to impress. Cmon Citeh
  23. It’s a great point. If Enzo wants to adopt the same playing style in the Prem, do the Club invest in a fast centre back who is able to mitigate the lack of pace of Vestergaard / Coady (like Kyle Walker has for years). Do the club look for an alternative quarterback style centre back with a bit more pace? I am not sure how many of the second type of Centre back would be on the market, and if any would meet our budget, so it maybe the first option is the way to go.
  24. No doubt it won’t be long before some club (Newcastle?) tries to take Enzo from us. Hopefully the club continues to back him and he sees the ambition and potential to improve the club and achieve things here. He will leave at some point but hopefully not for a number of years yet. Hail Enzo 🙌🙌
