We have to hope we can get promoted and then perform a massive reset of the playing squad built around our youth team Braybrooke, Alves, Nelson etc. Bank the broadcasting revenues and most likely rebuild stronger following relegation into the Championship. The concern is if we stay in the EFL we have an embargo, points deduction and lower loss threshold under P&S rules (£83m losses over three years). Can't see Enzo staying. We will need a McKenna style manager who is prepared to stay for the long haul and build us back

Kieran Maguire has essentially said our situation similar to Leeds when it went tits up in the early noughties. So its about as bad as you can get.

Time now for us to put pressure on Leeds and Ipswich with strong results in the next few games and see how they react. Whoever is most consistent will get over the line.

Sure it’s reassuring that Top / KP are willing to fund our losses and ensure the Club’s ongoing viability but, what we really need to see is that the right people are in key positions. That decisions impacting FFP and PSR will be made by better, more experienced, more skilled leaders.

I don’t think he is a fraud, but he appears an idealist who needs certain players to make his vision a reality. Players we don’t really have enough of and likely won’t be able to afford moving forward. He defo has his faults, he stubborn, rigidly committed to one way of playing and his use of subs questionable. my gut is he won’t be with us from the summer regardless of where we finish. All that said let’s hope he can get us promoted.

I don’t expect any significant change in set-up / formation but I do expect him to have the team organised, know their roles and motivated to get the 3 points. Coady for Faes would be a plus.

Time for Enzo to try and show us he is one of the best and brightest…….and not just a poor imitation.

Expect Ricky P for Hamza and Daka for Vardy will be the only changes but would defo look at swapping Faes for Coady and Albrighton / Marcal for Stephy. Any.sort.of.win. that has to be the objective

It’s a fair shout that the season is still all to play for and we can still achieve automatic promotion. That said it’s not too surprising that many have reacted to a fourth defeat in six, being 22nd in the form guide and losing a 17 point lead. Emotions get the better of you with this game, particularly with promotion being all the more important based on the financial concerns. We obviously need another BSLB episode to help us deal with the stress.
