Personally I think what the club has been doing is a step in the right direction. We've all been saying drain the swamp and it's finally happening. It's not going to be a walk in the park but this squad desperately needed open heart surgery which it seems to be getting and I think this summer window will age better with time.

The poo bit are the premier league blooded and international players. Need to improve on Soumare, Skipp, Vestergaard, Ayew, Choudhury. Page and Monga are this starting XI's most redeeming quality.

Cifuentes . Just needs to drop Vestergaard for Nelson now and Ayew for Mavididi.

Can we please allow the same tolerance to our academy players for having bad performances as our senior players get? Faes has been majority bad for us for 3 years, Winks has been bad for the most part for over a year and yet you still get fans saying theyre the best we have and need to back them. Let's allow Monga and Page at least one bad game, or 5 or 10 (ideally never) before we pile in on them. It just feels like there's a bunch of fans waiting in the wings to jump on the young players and say 'i told you so' when they dont win every game. Like what happened with Nelson.

He probably thought we were a pathway to a big move to chelsea/man united.

Monga needs to start with Mavididi up front. We need a win and that's our best way of getting it.

I feel bad for Mads but at least it's quietened down everyone who jumped on Stolarczyk last game saying he cant replace him.

Forgot about that one, what is he doing there . The hands up afterwards as well ffs. I see our future this season in those highlights if we dont take this opportunity to shift Faes (and Daka). It doesnt look pretty.

If you think Wout Faes is above championship level then I dont know what to tell you. Pick a random championship highlights from 23/24 and there is almost always a gaff from him and Vestergaard. Watch Faes in the highlights of this Milwall game, constantly out of position. Still a bombscare even at championship level. People seem to have convinced themselves that those two were Baresi and Maldini last time in the championship when they were just as shakey as ever. We will seriously struggle to get promoted with either of those two at the back. Nelson on loan at Oxford last season was just as good or better than those two in 23/24.

And Faes has looked off the pace many times for us over his contract. Over the course of a season I back Nelson more.

We all know how bad Wout Faes is. Championship or not he has no composure whatsoever and instead of owning his mistakes he blames everyone around them. Fans value 'leadership' in centrebacks where they make the players around them better, Wout Faes makes everyone around him worse due to his erraticism and temperament yet for some reason you cant hold it against him. We need our defense to be a unit and you cant get that with Faes.

Faes is a serious donkey, that used to be common knowledge amongst our fans. We have had him for 3 seasons now, we know what we're getting with him and it's not very good. The more Faes plays this season the more the consensus will return to him not being good enough, it's just this 'clean sheet' nonsense where everyone decides to have selective amnesia about all the bad times we have had with our worst players.

Actually insane to see the Sevilla fans hoping that Soumare comes back. Is the player who went on loan to Sevilla the same one that we have?

The issue with King Power hasnt been lack of money spent, it has been money spent poorly.

Happy about the transfer news, worried about Faes's safety as a human being. He might genuinely get executed if he has a game like that Liverpool one for them.
