This summer is the end I think

I’d like to write down somewhere that if we had competent people in our boardroom a playoff run from this position is more than possible even with Marti. But it would require shifting the likes of Winks, Soumare, Faes and signing a new striker, left back and probably centre back with the quality to improve the starting XI. A CAM to replace Ramsey would also be ideal, but I’d like to see us try Page more often. We don’t have competent people in many decision making positions, and I fully expect us to finish bottom half, probably close to the relegation zone with a points deduction.

He’s an upper mid table premier league quality striker when fit, far better than what we have. Id be very dubious though, low chance of him staying fit for 6 months.

I suggested that he could only play regularly in middle of the park on here a few times over the last 18 months or so and was hounded for daring to suggest his body couldn’t hand regular stints at full back… seems opinion is changing finally, has been clear for a while imo.

When players don’t know where they are supposed to be and what they are supposed to do with it, it’s no surprise we commit so many poor errors
