How about Dwité McNilez? Highly thought of 20yo Algerian winger from french lower league side Burnlé? The thinking man’s choice
-
this is pretty interesting... maybe looking at this wrong and he may be being considered as a Chilwell replacement? (Probably with a back 3)
-
This is about to take off
-
I’m not sure why he would want to go to West Ham tbh, arguably a backwards step, sideways at best (well, assuming he isn’t just giving up on his aspirations and is only out for a bigger payday now)
-
Genuinely think Slimani could be in the squad for this season, used mostly in Europe, then leaving on a free at the end of the year.
-
We’ve been linked with him consistently for about 5 years or so
-
From the mercury. Says we are not interested during this window despite making contact with the players agents... Could be that we see him as a potential option replace Vardy in a year or two and don’t intend to peruse until then?
-
Scored a nice goal in the Rio derby today, scored in 5 consecutive games now...

This - football is an entertainment business, and Gabigol is box office.

It’s a huge gamble. He’d have to be made to feel like the main man here I suspect, and I don’t see how that can happen with Vardy still around. But saying that, I’d back Rodgers to work with that type of personality, and if it comes off it could be an amazing signing. The lad undoubtedly has talent.

The whole Belgium squad is being retested for Covid now as one of them has been confirmed positive. Could be pretty threadbare vs. West Brom at this rate

I’ll say it again... No way they are holding out for 50m when he has 1 year and 9 months left on his contract. It’s widely known he wants to go, they will be lucky to get 20m next summer as he will leaving for free at the end of that season.
-
As has been pointed out, no way he goes for 50m given he has less than 2 years left on his deal (June 2022).
-
Shame, I wanted McNeil but that’s the kiss of death right there.
-
Widely reported as 50k with Ben me on 55k being their top earner.
-
In that season he was the 4th best defender in our back 4, Chilwell marginally better but Evans and Ricardo obviously so.
-
Positions played by De Paul throughout his career... talk about flexible! Can’t play RB though, so it’s a no from me Decent goal scoring record from RW.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/09/05/wolves-break-transfer-record-35million-signing-teenager-fabio/ Football Manager legend. Will be interesting to see how he gets on at Wolves... a lot of money for an 18yo.
-
If he looks like going for anything less than £30m we should be all over this.
-
£90k reported online having just checked, but yeah hadn’t considered that, silly money for his CV. Pass if that’s the case. Can’t see him having many takers for that wage.

If we are looking for depth up top, Batshuayi could be great for the right price, cheaper than French Eddy no doubt, but lower potential ceiling.
-
The first one, obviously, but not really fair. A “top winger” will cost more than Edouard, and would likely be difficult to attract to Leicester with no CL. One problem with 3 at the back is it is even more reliant on signing a quality extra CB as well as a striker. With wingers we could get away with a young developing CB or a loanee to pad out the squad as we only need to play 2 per game instead of 3. More realistically, any winger we sign is going to be a player in a similar bracket to Edouard IMO, young and with something to prove. Also, if we sign a winger we are no better prepared for a Vardy injury, if we sign a striker with potential to replace him in a few years, now that makes a lot of sense. both would be great

Anybody else noticed that when we sign somebody the fee quoted in media is often including add ons etc. But when we sell a player to a big club, the minimum number without add ons is often reported...

PSG fans seem to think that this is evidence that they are signing Riccy P
