just goes to show the impact of buying younger players can have. Currently the players being linked away are VK, bilal, Okoli, Nelson, mads, jakub. Monga, Paige. Even if players don’t particularly smash it, they can still be moved on becuase there is time and potential. Coady is of course the exception but I have a feeling it will fall through. The only players anyone wants to buy from us are the ones on lower wages and age on their side. I hate that we do the opposite.

Could see this happening (forest) , all depends on release clause for me. If there is a pathetic one as suggested, we really have screwed ourselves and there’s not much we can do. If he has not, ask for silly money, they have it. This guy will be difference the next year, he will. He will be so much better in a dominant team and would be silly on the championship. Let’s be fair though. Release clause or not, I put the chance of keeping him at about 1%.

I’m really excited about this generation of youth players. However. we need to be realistic, many will make it at different times, some will not make it at all. I want to play as much youth as we can but it needs to be done with careful strategy and we can’t rely on just that. Hopefully some come good, it’s certainly a good time to do it.
