If we can get this sort of money for cannon it just shows how beneficial it is to buy young players for relatively cheap with potential. He hasn’t exactly set the world of fire yet we make a profit. I cannot stress how much better this approach is for a club like ours than buying your, vesty’s, Ayew’s, BDR’s, Bertrand’s, Coady’s, skip’s. The list goes on of players that have ultimately hit their ceiling, on the decline, on massivr wages and little to no sell on value at all, not to mention the hunger and desire to deliver and prove themselves. I understand you can’t do this all time and there has to be a mixture but when we already have experienced players in the squad it should be our direction. for a club like ours, I believe it really is the only to remain sustainable and competitive.

If we are seriously selling him for 7m then we are crazy. I would 100% be keeping him for next season unless you can get really good money for him. I think there is something there’s no doubt we sell him and buy and 29yr old who fails and is stuck with us.
