I’m not sure what I expect really from having to get a defender in last minute with experience. For me not a great signing, average at best, obviously will plug some height gaps in our squad but not sure I really rate him. Wish we could have gone for someone else but you just don’t really know who is out there who is available. Would rather we paid more for tarks who is a class above this guy for me and would naturally replace Evans overtime. I just worry we take this guy on, realise he is not good enough abs then stuck with him on a contract that I don’t reckon will be cheap! Saying that I like the fact we have been interested previously! It shows it not a compete panic buy. Bertrand has looked good so far though so it shows what different surroundings can do.

I’m not sure this has legs but I did read somewhere that Norwich have a 15% sell on clause so people saying that they would take 60m for him. It’s only around 51m. Personally I don’t think we should even entertain it. Especially not for 51 mill spend. I know others are saying we will play without a number 10 but if we do and it doesn’t work, do we just keep playing it. Keep Maddison, better with him in side! Especially not to a top 6 rival. No I don’t think he will leave at all but 100% don’t sell for me. People saying if we need a number 10 or not the answer is yes. When he is fully fit we are so much better with h in side. When he isn’t fit we can look very very ordinary. His fitness wasn’t there last year like a lot of players. Get that back and he will be class again.

Was alway going to be the case, pretty versatile and will always gives 100%. Everyone saying he is declining, our record with him is a lot better than without. Not the most exciting announcement but solid business, 0 risk and is obviously good to have around.

yeah think he is good, he hasn't been that good this season but if he could get back to it, would be great. doubt it would happen though nor would it be as cheap as they are suggesting. he has 35 caps for Germany, so no slouch.

Shouldn't look too much into that really lots of different players and everyone half paced. However, the last few seasons including when we won title we have performed well in pre season and some players have started with confidence. It would be good to have some positive performances in build up and maybe some creativity would be nice.

It’s very strange that we still haven’t got anyone in. I’m sure we will at some point. Realistically for the money RW is the only position that we could easily improve the first XI. Maybe ( just a guess) we were all in for Beradi, then all in for Trincao and neither have come off for what ever reason. Now we don’t really know what to do. Personally I would say it should be the first position we should strengthen. It’s strange to think we almost go into games now and have just got used to not having creatively from the right. I know we do have players that play there and they do ok sometimes I guess but I just find it an odd one.

it’s a shame that people get so hostile towards people sharing the information. For me, If you are an ITK or just pretending to be, keep it coming!!! I like it even if it’s not true, it encourages some discussion. Trying to work if it’s true or not is part of the fun. 😂

For me losing Maddison weakens the first team and to do that while strengthening a rival would be silly, we won't entertain it unless it's seriously silly money. Im not to sure he has fallen out with Rodgers either as everyone is suggesting. He may be a little arrogant but that's why he is a game changer. I wouldn't say he is a bad egg at all. 100% keep, was class when Vardy went out of form last year. He just needs to be fully fit, it helps if Barnes is fit as-well to create space for him and they ink up well.
