  1. Fair play if he wants more playing time, clearly has some arrogance though, if he is not willing to earn a spot and go on loan like everyone else. I believe we offered him a loan but he thought it was beneath him. if he isn't willing to put in the work he wouldn't make it here anyway. I think this will happen a lot more, as we are competing at the the top end. when you are in at the bottom end you don't expect to win as many games so you can risk more academy players and utilise them to plug gaps. We now have a good strong squad so it's always going to be harder as exceptions are higher.

    Ryan Bertrand

Silly question but if it’s an option for 3rd year. is that our option or his?

    Maddison

I just thought I would leave this comment here to see how crazy arsenal fans are haha 😂
  4. I just read the article pal! I’m talking about the type of fun they are suggesting in said article. I haven't made judgments myself at alll. Like I said I’m not arsed, as Lon he performs on pitch, on his day and in a good place he is very very dangerous! How he is perceived in the media could impact it! No one mentioned sex haha 😂
  5. Nah I’m not arsed either. Like I said who knows what goes on. Just hope he gets back to fitness and form. Guess if there is stuff going on in personal life it can impact the form, hopefully he just gets back to where he was before the lay off.
  6. If you are referring to Maddison, I’m not sure people are apposed in anyway to him having fun, in fact its a completely normal and deserved. I think people just question his character, as to what type of fun he is having in the public eye, with having a pregnant girlfriend at home. I guess we don’t really know what goes on though.
  7. Can’t see anything in this. Would love him here but nothing reliable so far. This person has probably seen complete meltdown off the back of Trincao transfer and thought it’s a good time to get some clicks! I think the team are on it but it could well be some way down the list of targets after transfers not working out for one reason or another. I hope they know who they want and he is first choice but I can’t imagine Dan James or pereira being number one target.
  8. Would love this but unfortunatelyi don’t think it will happen happen. If we were all surprised that we got Daka, I think this guy is just pushing it. Shame, would love him here.
  9. Really please for cav aswell bought a year to my eye. I love football and the emotion it brings and cycling is the similar for me. I think it’s the sheers effort and the fact that to win you literally have empty yourself completely. What a crazy tour it’s been so far. Mental time trial today aswell! I follow grenadiers but fair play to roglic for even getting back on.
  10. It will be bertrand and will probably be announced tomorrow. I think that is the free transfer deadline. He will do a job but I know everyone is hopping for some one left field ( no pun intended) i just don't see anyone but Bertrand for our left back option.
  11. It will be Bertrand I reckon, he just doesn’t want to confirm as it’s not his source. Needs to keep his reliability. Bertrand will be ok, I hope we are not paying the reported 70k he was getting at Southampton, doubt we will. With Ricky back to full fitness hopefully and Thomas he is the exact type of experience we need I reckon. We have purchased similar players in the past with good reward like Evans, Huth and Fuchs. If it were higher up the pitch I would not be so keen but in defence we need some older heads sometimes. I have said all that and it will be some random Brazilian 😂

Completely agree, it comes down to expectation really. Albrighton is a workhorse and is consistently ok at the job he does. A job where we do not expect him to be controlling games and scoring regularly. Maddison on the other hand can be unreal and unplayable on his day. His stats are actually excellent, for this reason we expect him to be a star performer consistently. Therefore naturally when he does performance we use him as a scape goat! Albrighton is good but he is almost so understated now days he’s overrated . 😂
  13. not sure how credible this guy is but it looks far from done? Hope we get this over the line! https://twitter.com/ManuelVeth/status/1405752470471528448?s=20 🤞
  14. I can confirm that strangely I played cricket with him as a kid at Billesdon. Don’t think he is a journo, he’s an accountant I think.
  15. The conclusion was made on the form of certain players and results. He also publicly ruled himself out almost word for word as he did when he was at Celtic?
  16. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but do you think maybe Rodgers is off to Spurs and some players are aware of this I may have down tools to play for him? The unity doesn’t seem to be there as it once was. I haven’t seen this anywhere so I’m stating it as fact it’s just a theory that may be something? I’m not sure if Spurs would sack a manager without having someone lined up and there is talk that this person is lined for end of season? That could be Brendan and it could explain unrest in the camp? If Leicester were to miss out again nothing says “taking a club as far as they can go” Than that? like I said I’m just questioning if this could be a factor?
  17. If we sign him personally I think that would be worst than Bennett. I’m actually baffled about why we would want him. Just keep Hamza.
  18. Not sure if it’s true but reading that he has signed for Vancouver.
  19. in - nobody as I really think the finances aren’t there out - maybe some u23s like wright but apart from that..... Gray will see out contract Hamza too expensive for his ability kelechi - why would anyone come in for him and pay him them wages sorry but none of them going anywhere
  20. I’m not sure if everyone is missing something but we are unable to recall him. There was a deadline and that deadline passed before praet got injured. So its not in our hands. The contract states that he can’t be recalled now.
  21. I think as the club gets better and the first team squad improves there will be players that will slip through. This is purely down to the fact that better players are not getting in the first team because the standard is higher. Therefore, as a club we will be realising better standard of player hopefully and these players may have high ceilings. I saw Tavares got subbed at half time last night? Was he playing that badly or do you think he might make the squad?
  22. WEST HAM WAIT ON FOFANA ANSWER West Ham have given Saint-Etienne until tomorrow to accept their take-it-or-leave-it offer for Wesley Fofana. West Ham do not want to get into a bidding war for the 19-year-old centre-back. Their offer is £23m plus £10m in add-ons and they are proposing to pay the £23m in six annual instalments. haha they don’t want a bidding war!! It’s laughable
  23. more from sky sports FOFANA KEEN ON WEST HAM MOVE Sky Sports News' Kaveh Solhekol tells The Transfer Show: "What’s interesting about Fofana is he’s only 19, he’s only been a regular at Saint-Etienne for a season. "He is very highly rated though, I’m being told lots of different agents are going to Saint-Etienne and saying ‘we can get you this much for Fofana from this club’. There’s not a bidding war, but people are beating down the door of the Saint-Etienne president, trying to do a deal. "What we’re being told today is that West Ham have done everything by the book, put in their official offer, and I said to someone involved in the potential deal, would the player want to come to West Ham? I was told yes, of course, why not. He would love to move to London, play for West Ham and play in the Premier League. "I’m being told Saint-Etienne need to sell someone to raise money by November, they’ve been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic as many other clubs have, and their most valuable asset is Fofana. "The only thing I would say is we know David Moyes, in the transfer market, is very cautious. He likes to watch players before he signs them and know a lot about them, so I’m not sure how much he would be behind this move. We know they’ve put in big bids for James Tarkowski, someone older with experience in the Premier League, Fofana is young and raw. "A lot of people in recruitment say he has a great future ahead of him, but is he what West Ham need at the moment? I’m not sure."
