  1. The fallout from this is going to be hilarious.
  2. Its already residing in a non old firm boardroom as we speak 😀
  3. Got a freebie tonight so went along. Absolutely freezing. Leinster played most of the rugby but Tigers stuck in there. Experience and game management saw Leinster get the win. Loads of Irsh in the crowd.
  4. Kayal on Granby Street last night. Really enjoyed the different menu options. Definitely go back.
  5. St Mirren lying in wait on Sunday, League Cup final. Horrible team to play against and they will be licking their lips. Lose that and watch the fireworks in the stands. 😀
  6. This boy is giving me the fear as soon as they said he was eligible for Haiti......
  7. Keystone cops from Celtic defence. Apart from the 1st 20 mins Hearts have been relatively comfortable.
  8. Couldn't get on at Loughborough, train was packed. Had to uber to the game, £43 later. After the game went to Nottingam for a bit of shopping and a beer. The train back was dangerously full due to 2 previously London trains cancelled. I've done that Crewe to Derby train too many times than I care to remember, it's depressing.
  9. First time I've seen Leicester play live for something like 10 years. It looked like a team with Prem experience v a team with very little prem experience, and the quality was obvious. He gets a hard time on here, but Ayew was brilliant yesterday. Sanderson and Clarke couldn't handle him. Skipp and James ran the midfield. Tactically Cuifentes made a fool of Eustace, and by the time he changed it they were 3 down. Its the 1st game Ive been to with no VAR in ages, Id forgotten how good no VAR is. However I had a bit of sympathy for the linesmen. I was sitting right in line with the 6 yard box and thought Ayews header was a mile offside......saw it in the concourse at ht and saw he was on. Derby are a mid table side, without Morris they were toothless. For a neutral it was a good day out, full noisy stadium, decent game. Less said about East Midlands Railways the better.......
  10. I was in the main stand and the noise from the away section was loud. Considering it was an early ko, the atmosphere in the stadium was decent all game.
  11. Great shop Bradley's. constant stock of Charnwood beers and varous wines and other beer you never see elsewhere. I work not too far from St Bernard monastry in Whitwick and have a real soft spot for Tynt Meadow blonde.
  12. Spent 2 great weeks in England for Euro 96, and 2 weeks in France 98. Then Germany last year. Nothing beats a European tournament. Enjoy, ( I obviously hope England are home before the postcards....😀) All the best 👍
  13. I'm thinking about travelling around Central Europe for a few weeks in June and watching the games in different cities. Germany, Austria, Swiss, Italy. If they play a friendly in Europe pre world cup I'll go to that. To be honest, trying to get tickets in Germany was really stressful last year, I cba going through that in USA.
  14. Looking at various forums, people have been put off by pricing, however maybe they will make a "weekend" of it for 1 game. I was thinking about it and flights were around £700 just after the draw. Not too bad. Hotels in both cities were £500 per person per night. I'm not guaranteed SSC tickets, so will give this a miss unfortunately. My 3 friends are guaranteed tickets and are booking as we speak.
  15. scotland v haiti is 13th June in either Boston or NY it will test the demand pricing considering Trump has banned away fans from Haiti.
  16. Beat Haiti and Brazil, job done. They've got Richarldson up front ffs.
  17. We are due to give Brazil a hiding. Bring it on.......👍
  18. For Scotland I'd take From pot 1 anyone bar england, Pot 2 no European countries. Pot 4, anyone that has already qualified apart from Ghana. Please not Argentina, Croatia, Scotland, Ghana.
  19. It's been a few years since I've been to Pride Park, but the Harvester used to be an away pub. Halfway between train station and stadium. I'm heading towards the Brunswick which is the other side of the station but it will be full of home fans.
  20. Pick of the draw is Dunf v hibs, and Hearts v Falkirk.
  21. Don't think I've seen someone out on their feet and looking confused as Clarke towards the end of that fight. Real bravery, I thought his corner should have called it quits before the last round because he wasn't responding to their comments.
  22. I knew the BBC had the coverage tonight because they've been plugging it for a few months. Didn't realise it was in Derby, I've not seen any promotion in Leicestershire which is a shame because I might have gone along.
  23. Bang on the money. I'm giving Derby my money next week because for floating fans with no affiliation to an East Midland club they make it a hell of a lot easier to buy tickets than LCFC.
  24. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip Anything Aaron Sorkin did after West Wing I was going to watch, starred Mathew Perry and Bradley Whitford. I loved it, then it was binned after 1 series.
  25. Had a works retirement doo last Thursday and went to a bit of town I'd never ventured to before. Had a few in the Clarendon which I really enjoyed. Then went down Queens Road (I think) to a Spanish bar, Dos Hermenos possibly, unfortunately it was empty but could see the potential on a Friday or Saturday. Then the Marquis Wellington, which again was quiet but had a nice feel about it.
